NHL??
Any hockey fans left' I hate the new rivalry schedule. I am so sick of Ottowa and Toronto playing. The 0 tolerance is crap too. I like that they made the game faster, but players are scared to touch each other.

Re(1): The mistakes Low-Limit SNG players are making the most!
Great post. Great article. I think most of it will greatly improve my game. There is one thing though. Playing too tight early. While playing tight early is a viable strategy in a higher limit SNG, it is simply a mistake in the lowest limit SNGs, where there are usually a few players just dying to lose their money early. Get first crack at these players' money. Play a wide range of hands in late position, hoping to hit a monster. You have huge implied odds when the blinds are small, and opponents who are all too willing to call off their stack with top pair! Play hands in position, cheap, ...

Re(1): Why I believe online poker will be safe...
There are yet more ways to fund poker accounts. I have funded accounts via western union. I have never done it, but I have heard of others sending money orders directly to whichever poker site. I know a few people who maintain offshore accounts solely for this purpose. I am not saying, or even trying to imply that these ways will still be available. One thing is evident, the signing of this bill is a sad day for all of us.

Apparently you did not get the memo. Protecting Americans from the evils of gambling is far more important than a legitimate tax base. GG civil liberties.

The Bill goes to the Pres, so should we...
The president still has to sign off on this bill. He has an emaill address. Here is a list of email addresses. president@ vice_president@ comments@ According to the government website, use the latter of these. Email him, and let him know that signing off on this bill with the online gaming bill attached is a bad idea. I personally have sent emails to every one of the addresses listed. Let your voice be heard. Even if you live in another country. This bill will effect the economies of many countries.

Re(1): online bill
There is a VERY slim chance that Bush won't sign it. Frist and Bush are not together on most things. And, with this recent sex scandal, Frist has further dirtied that republicans by trying to hide it. Bush has to keep his approval ratings up for the midterm elections.

Need help, not particular hand...
I stopped playing poker for a while. I didn't have anything to do with the game. Didn't watch it, read about it, play it, or think about it (for the most part). Now that I am back, I am doing HORRIBLE!!! I was a low limit SnG and MTT player beofre I stopped, and that being said, there are no lower levels I can drop down to. Any and all advice is welcome. Thanks, Matt

Re(1): Right to fold this hand?
There is not really enough information to make an educated call here. Knowing how the others in the hand play would go along way towards answering this any better. Here is my wisdom, and it echoes your own... "I liked AQ, and had the best hand, but I thought I could also be EASILY way behind to AK or KK or AA" I think it was an easy laydown.

Re(5): coincidental? or just Pokerstars?
Has anyone ever heard of "Time Compression Syndrome"' It happens to people who are in the midst of an emergency, or traumatic event. People commonly say things like "Time Stood Still". I think there is a common thread to short stack play. The more hands that tick by that you know you shouldn't make a move with, the more desperate you become for a hand.

I have to take a different path than b in atl. I NEVER vary my preflop. If I am in for a steal, or I have a hand, if I open the pot, I raise 4xBB. I DO vary my bets PF, and at every street.
