Hooking up a LCDTV monitor to a macbook pro. I have a Macbook pro that I am trying to hook up to this LCD TV using an HDMI cable. Unless I make the poker interface really big then it is very blurry. Since I am trying to multi-table this defeats the purpose. I tried all the display settings and it doesn't seem to change anything... I appreciate the help. Posted in: Poker Community |

Hand Advice for Past Weekend at Live 1/2 NL in a 1/2 game definitely limp behind in this spot because idiots like those guys are gna limp behind with AK and any pair up to jacks probably, especially because your in the SB.Even on the button though id limp AT maybe raise with AJ+ 88+. As played I'd bet flop. check/fold turn and if they check back turn obv bet riv. But yea, although I don't like the way u played it, they definitely played it worse. Posted in: Poker Discussion |

How do taxes work on vegas tourney winnings? My friend is going to Vegas this weekend and he is curious on how taxes work on tourney winnings' He wants to play small Venetian and Wynn tourneys with less than 200$ buy ins. I don't have that much live cash experience, i don't see "rocks" (by now I'm taking it you mean old super tite guy ) just go nuts with flopped boats, or trips. I think they usually like to slow play. What are we ever beating here against a rock? I feel like with your stack, villain is always just going into protect my hand mode. I guess you can include all those hands you mentioned in his range.. but there a very small part of his range. we flat hands like JTs vs live donks to get in spots like this where they won't fold a pair. Sick spot on the river at the FT of the $75 24k on Sunday No one thinks he hero calls worse' I just don't think hes ever putting you on a flush, so I think he will hero 8's.
