Multiple PocketFives Triple Crown winner. Kevin MacPhee has earned a reputation as an elite poker tournament player. One of his largest online tournament cashes to date came in February '09 when he final-tabled the FTOPS $5k NLHE event for $218,750. This came only one month after he won the UltimateBet UBOC Pot-Limit Hold'em Event #9 for $33,500.
In April '08, he won the PokerStars $55k Guaranteed and $15k Guaranteed tournaments for a combined total of nearly $29k. The next month, he took 2nd in a PokerStars $100 rebuy tournament for another $38,300. In July '09, Kevin took down the Bodog $100k Guaranteed twice and the Absolute Poker $100k Deep Stack once for an even $25,000 each. Then in October, he won the Stars Wednesday Quarter Million for $51,900. He followed that up with a 3-way chop of the Sunday Brawl in January '10 for $87,000 (1st place officially).
Final tabled a $10,300 NLHE WCOOP tournament in September 2011 for $235,000, officially taking third place. In July 2012, Kevin finished fifth in the PokerStars Sunday 500 for $18,000. In April 2013, he emerged victorious in the Full Tilt Sunday Brawl for $40,000, defeating a field of 950 opponents.
In November 2013, MacPhee drove to a second place finish in the 888 Poker Whale, cashing in for $35,000. March 2014 saw him fall heads-up to Joe Cada in the Full Tilt Sunday Brawl, but he still managed to make $28,000. In the first month of 2015, Kevin final tabled the Stars Sunday 500 for $15,000. In September of the same year, he finished third in the Full Tilt Sunday Major for $15,000. Shortly thereafter, he final tabled the PartyPoker Sunday Major for $12,000.
Kevin's largest live tournament score came in March '10, when he took down the EPT Berlin Main Event for 1 million Euros.
