Beginner question for P5 staff... I was just thinking to myself tonight while going throught the site...Would you guys ever consider having some sort of P5 freeroll tourney so some uf us "rookies" or "micro" players can test are skill against some of the best in the online game.' It doesn't have to have a cash prize or anything, I was just wanting to maybe play against these guys that are unbeatable right now. Re(1): FTP Custom Avatars I think they do this because if an avatar was avaliable to most people, the file size for the program would be huge. Its already roughly 8-10MB, not sure what it is now. The program would have to update all the time and get bigger and bigger. Plus, its like an acheivement now, you have to earn one... Posted in: Poker Discussion |

Where are you finding out that you are getting 3 to 1' I dont see it...you bet 1K, he raised almost another 6k' so the pot is somewhere around 7-8k and you have to call 5K more right' where does the 3 to 1 come in' Sorry for the dumb question.. very rookie questions I have been reading and learning a lot more about poker lately. Finally learning the ins and outs of it and doing a lot better in the game. I am now stuck thought on a few things. 1. What is CO' "Cut-Off", and is this a good or bad position' 2. Why do most play so tight "UTG", why is this a bad position' Because if someone raises, you will more than likely end up out of position' I think that it for now, if you guys can think of a little advice that helped you the most starting out I would appreciate it.
