Phil has been playing excellent poker since the WSOP last year. He can def. win this. He's in good shape right now with 1.8 million in chips. First prize for this tournament is like 3.x million dollars... damn! And yes, I'm rooting for him. He's like the Howard Stern of Poker... you love to hate him, but you have to give him credit. He's a great poker player.

Yup - you can play on . I've played on my Blackberry on the Edge network here in Canada. It was very fast... pretty cool if you're travelling and don't have your laptop and want to play a bit.

I was waiting for this post. ;-) I think, out of all the software out there, UB is the best. May have some bugs to iron out with tournaments and customer support, but in terms of software, i think it's #1. as for slowing down the computer, do you have your anti-virus running' sometimes that slows down apps for me. their software, and most others, is fairly small, and certainly not taxing on a PC. go to task manager and see what you've got running, and what's taking most of the resources.

OMG… Hellmuth Loses 500k to Ivey!
I checked Hellmuth’s blog and he was writing about how he just lost 500K to Phil Ivey in a game of Chinese Poker while in Monte Carlo. Wow… half a million bucks in one night. I think he previous biggest loss was 100k, but this is epic. Good thing he’s got the bank roll to support this. But, it’s a great post… he talks about buying a $4000 bottle of wine, and some of his new projects on the go. Love him or hate him, he certainly is entertaining… WELL WORTH THE READ:
