Article: PPA: Mitt Romney Has it Wrong in Opposing Online Poker In actuality what seems to be a political issue is really a religious one. Family values champions such as Romney tend to let their religious ties direct them. Politics and religion should never be intertwined, but they are daily. Everyday in the United States there is a headline somewhere. Mitt Romney is Mormon. His religious beliefs pretty much go against every possible vice that in the United States we should be able to make choices on as individuals. Being an American I should be able to make the choice if I want to have a drink or not, play cards or not, hell even smoke marijuana or ... Posted in: vBCms Comments |

How Do I Continue playing against this so called varience? or did I play this wrong? Actually I don't think that your mistake was pre flop, in a low buy-in tournament such as this there is no real risk involved, leading to bad play by most. The player made either a terrible pre flop call or a very brave one...or he based his call solely on having position on you. The continuation bet is the aggressive move to make, your position leaves you open to not having a real clue as to what your opponent has. He actually played you pretty well by simply letting you do the betting for him. My advice is to slow down a little so that you can get a read on your opponent, he clearly had one ... Looking for honest evaluation... Ok, maybe I need to be more specific. I cash about 50% of the time in the low limit sng's and I only play a few mtt's a week, cashing in a couple weekly. Nothing big, just a few dollars here and there. Posted in: Poker Discussion |

Looking for honest evaluation... I am new to the on-line poker scene, but have been playing off and on live for about ten years. Playing on-line has definetely let me play more often, and I feel that my game is improving, but how can you really tell' I can only play lower limit stuff right now, tournaments and sit and goes and I cash about 50% of the time. I keep wading through 2000+ players and cash, but I seem to blow up at the end. What helps some of you players move further up the chart, or is this something that only time, practice and patience will help' Thanks for any advice. Posted in: Poker Discussion |
