Played correctly?
Iam on a mission to seriously improve my game and was just wondering if this was the correct way to play this hand. Heres the thing. Last night i was playing at a local live 1/2 game and one guy always just stared at the board when he didn't hit his hand. Few hands later i had QQ and raised PF and he was the only one to call. Board came 36A with two spades. He just stared at the board. I bet knowing he didn't hit the ace. He called. I fired again on the rag turn just enough to get him to call on his flush draw, river brought another rag, i checked and he fired and i called and won. In my experience i cant give poker nearly 100% when i have an actual job. I tilt way easier because i know i dont NEED the money. That being said, if the position is available part time i would take that. This way, poker is still necessary income resulting in you still taking it seriously, but at the same time you have a safety net. A. You're lack of basic grammar skills while insulting other people's intelligence makes your credibility drop considerably. B. The Zone
I read an article by Scott Fischman in which he talked about how he gets in "the zone" when playing poker and his instincts (instincs after millions of hands played) just take over and he becomes machine-like making a lot of money without trying wikked hard, it just naturally comes. He compared it to how basketball players get in the zone and make all kinds of shots. And how Tiger Woods gets in the Zone and blows away his competition. Do you guys believe a poker player can be in a similar "zone" where everything becomes natural'

I have a Toshiba Tecra A-9 S9020V with an extra 2g of RAM and its seriously flawless. Wikked fast, can play any computer game and have 2 pokersites open at the same time. +i have pushed it to the floor a few times (KO'd Deep) and it is still good as new. Granted it is a little on the expensive side and i am no computer tech, but fwiw i love the thing.

And while yes one mtt a day isn't much, i still went from top 20 at least once a week to maybe top 70 once a week. Maybe i got lucky in the beginning which spoiled me, but it still seemed odd. When you all go through the inevitable downswings of nl holdem, about what % of your BR do you lose before you start coming back up. When i first started putting serious hours into poker a couple months ago i was up a couple grand from just $5mtts and .25/.50 nl holdem. Recently though, i havn't FT'd any MTTs (600man) for almost a month (playing 1 a day) and have lost considerably more money than i won in the past couple weeks in cash games.
