0.25/0.50 - TP+FD 250BB deep and I get repopped
Good point by a couple of people here about my raising the flop. I wanted to start building the pot in case I hit the turn or river since most cards that improve my hand would also freeze the action. I guess I didn't really have a big plan in case I got repopped, and I ended up in a spot where it's a bloated pot and I have a hand that is strong, but doesn't play that well against the villain's range. FWIW, if we were at a standard table (100 BB) I'd shove with no second thought, but being this deep gave me pause.

1/2 NL Should I have bet the river or was it a trap?
The check/min-raise on the turn should be a bit scary considering the 2d is (usually) a total brick. The villains play there would make me think he is not bluffing and really likes his hand. I've found that for most bad players, a check/min-raise = strength. The river card is not a good one since all sorts of two pair are possible and JT (double gutter on the flop) just hit. Given all that, I like the check behind on the river. You may have got value from hands like A9 or similar, but I think most of the time you're only being called by a better hand.

Where was I wrong?
Since the villain is playing ATC and doesn't seem to like folding, I'd make the preflop raise a little bigger. I'd prob shove river too considering stack sizes and the strength of your hand. Other than that I don't see anything that could be considered bad. Not betting the river in that spot is just losing out on a ton of value in the long run.

I would shove turn, expecting him to call and show something like Ah7x, a hand with the Kh, or a flopped set. A higher flush is possible, but in this game I'm never getting away from this.

Put me down as another person who didn't know about the arrow on the gas gauge until recently. When I got my current car, I literally kept a post-it note with "Gas tank is on passenger side" written on it because my first car had it on the driver's side and I was so used to that.

Reccomended Strategy for Local Cash Game
Don't get too attached to top pair hands if you get raised, 'cause some guy with 96 just rivered two pair to beat your AQ. Try to see cheap flops in position with hands like suited connectors and small pairs. Those hands are usually the best when you hit and if you miss it's an easy fold. Since your opponents are very loose, don't bother slowplaying when you hit and don't try bluffing when you miss (except for c-betting in a HU pot). Just keep taking them to value town when you got it. You'll get paid off every time.

I don't think it's legal. If the dealer didn't notice, it's the player's responsibility to speak up and say that he only has one card.

Three betting low stakes
3-bet for value mainly.There are lots of players at the micro levels who, early on, will not fold pre when they raise (they're "committed" you see) and will proceed to call you all the way if they catch a piece of the flop. Just play straightforward ABC poker, ie. no fancy, deceptive plays or big bluffs. In later stages when the average stack is much lower, you can 3-bet a lot wider. Many players at these levels will raise/fold with 10-20BB as they lack fundamentals and are generally scared money at this point in the tourney.
