Re:Poker in Mississippi--Biloxi or Tunica? Between the two there was only one pokerroom anyway. They are pretty much the same casino since they are connected and both owned by the Choctaw tribe. I haven't played there in a while but the action was pretty good on the weekends and meh during the week. Probably be good for a weekend place to play but Biloxi offers more options. Do you think that PSU is more likely to show up with a hand since he's already done this 5 times' Also, wouldn't PSU be calling Blue a lighter in this spot since Blue's range is weighted towards small to mid pp's and non-premium broadway combos' I mean is PSU calling with 99 or KQs' So basically he's just trying to get PSU to fold which means he's turning his 88 into a bluff' Posted in: Poker Discussion |

Re:The internet nerd is killing the game I think that "thugs" like OP claims to be hurt the game more than "nerds". If poker players are perceived as thugs, a lot of people will be turned away. However, nerds on the other hand are easier for a lot of wealthy people to relate to (wealth people=who we want to pick up the game) since both tend to be educated and well-spoken.
