you should be happy. i would close that bank account but most likely they will never withdraw that money now that all the banks have been hit up. this will take a very very long time to straighten out and allow US player to play on line.

Full Tilt and Pokerstars Domains Seized
this is horrible news for all, and even worse for those that have a ton of money still at the sites. What's more, is that a lot of the players were full time players with no real world work experience and only counted on poker as a way to pay for bills. I think the unemployment rate just went throught the roof in the US. I hope the gov has extra supply of gov cheese and flour for the coming months. WIC checks will not be available to poker players. In addition, poker players now have to pay the 30% taxes for the past three years up and including 2008. Thank you for your time, the US Gov.

pot has nothing to do with poker and should probably not be discussed on the poker forum at all...but i'd say make poker as legal as one buying liquor around the corner. that means anyone who is old enough should be able to spend their money however they want to. shit, the scratch offs are there, the lotto is there; those are pure luck and nothing to do with skill (straight up gambol) yet legal. poker, although luck has a lot to do with winning, it takes skill to win at poker in the long run. second thought, make both legal. drugs kill way to many people on the battle fields. just look ...

save the $99 you spend on the GPS and just take the major roads otherwise it will take you 30 hours to get there. 495 will have some traffic around DC area, unless you drive by DC at night or mid day. Rushhour (early morning,after 4-5pm), forget it, will take some time. I95N, to 495 around DC (either west or east side), back to 95N...once you pass Delaware Bridge, get on NJ turnpike and take exit 3 which will take you to the AC expressway. Done and done. GL

god what an awful awful tragedy. i don't think those outside of Haiti really understand the pain and suffering these people are going thru right now. I know people who have lost someone and some who can't get any type of contact with those over there. I really hope the help arrives on the double and help as many as possible. if you manage to gamble away that much money, you are the biggest idiot on this planet period. of course he's going to blame the casino's for his losses. It's his fault for stepping into the casino premisses knowing that he not only has gambling problems but also alcohol problems. That's why you should never drink (heavily) and gamble.
