Hya I had my wallet stolen about 4 yrs. ago. Took $50 (so balla) and credit/debit cards, SS card. Anyway, you should also get a hold of one of the three credit agencies (Trans Union, Equifax, or TRW (') F me for not remembering) and have a block put on your SSN and credit so if anyone applies for credit in your name, you would have to personally verify it. I think it lasts for like 30 days and would apply for any of those three agencies. Such a time for this when you're house-hunting, but better safe than sorry!

I think that anybody who says, "I'll be like a new dad to you" is pretty fucking clueless about how that whole "dad" thing goes. I'm thinking he probably said that to try to break the ice because he was nervous about meeting you and he knows that getting along w/the kids is a step in the right direction to a long-lasting relationship w/your mom. Friends are a great way to push somebody into a commitment that they may not be ready for, but your mom may also know what she's really looking for (unless she's like my mom and marries somebody who showers her with gifts before marriage then treats ...

I may be being a puzzy about this, but couldn't you achieve the same effect by using speaker stands instead of wall-mounting' -You're going to be seated most of the time, anyway, so the audio effect will be the same. -You can still route the speaker wires through the walls if you want. -It saves you from trying to mount them on the walls, thereby reducing the chance of fouling the walls (for when you have to sell it once your done w/residentcy). -Finally, it's entirely possible while installing this you could fall through the ceiling into the kitchen, and that will give the Missus something ...

I've been at this whole "choosing a president" thing longer than most posters here, and while I do agree that this deal isn't done by any stretch, Obama is going to be VERY tough to stop now. This guy, quite simply, has "IT", this same type of personality, charisma, and intellegence that make a person get elected president. 'The Confederate flag does not mean "I'm a racist".' The Stars and Bars, in and of itself, wasn't originally intended as a racist commentary when it was created on the onset of the Civil War, but since then has become a tacit symbol of racism. When the Civil Rights movement was going on in the early 1960's, many southern state legislatures voted to tack the Confederate flag onto their state flags to show "Southern Pride," which many people saw as a euphamism for racism. That image, whether right or wrong, still applies today.
