Re(2): AN ANSWER FOR U BRSAVAGE ON POKER STARS
Cubbierae, On your hand example with the suited J2, what's so odd about that' The guy was trying to make a play (with garbage), and someone had KK, and raised all in. Then jsweeting decided that he was just going to go with it since he was such a short stack anyhow. That's not to say that jsweeting isn't a donk (who knows), nor is it to say that I (or anyone here) would do the same thing, but he took a chance with a suited hand. Granted, dude w/KK wins a little more than 80 percent of the time...but NOT every time. I just wanted to point out that there are SO many people that track their ...

Re(8): Top Ten Things I've Noticed
Okay, just so you know, here's how you win MTT's. (#8) (sarcasm) Just get in, and stay tight, but raise w/good hands, and make HUGE money off your monsters. Push when you can, and fold when you can. Then, when the antes kick in, start stealing like Winona Ryder (I do love her though), then when you're at the final table (make sure you wait 'till then) with your big stack, that's the only time that you wanna start running over the table unless the tourney is a 10k buy in or more, and then you can run over the table with your big stack earlier. One last thing, don't go all in without the ...

Re(3): Who is the donk?
Coderman, I'm going to assume, here, that you knew your opponent well enough that you expected a call with a lesser hand here. Your opponent raised from UTG, and you went all in with AQ off suit. My thought is, what about a raise to 1200 or a little more' See the flop, out play your opponent...or is this the type of player that would have called your 1200, and seen the river no.matter.what. ' If that's the case, and you want to go up against this person with AQ off, and you feel no one behind you will call (although they would with more than likely a better hand), then you do it, however, ...

Re(4): QUestion BAX, SamENole, Sheets and The BEat to ANSWER Please...ONLY those 4...reason behind this...
In this situation, a donk would probably still fold after the flop when he didn't hit anything if you went all in on the flop. Pre-flop, however, a donk will call your all in reraise nearly every single time with AK suited or unsuited. So, is there a right play here against good players, and a different play against donks' I don't think so. Ultimately, you're trying to capitalize on other players making mistakes. I think, regardless of who you are playing, you call the raise here, see the flop, and use your skill. Preflop all ins seem to take the skill out of the hand.

Re(1): Should I play AJ, AQ?
I would probably want to know how many people are in the hand with you when you have these two hands. Heads up, I like my chances a lot more than against three people. If you limp in with this hand early, and you flop top pair, or you flop TPTK, but you're up against three other players, one of whom raises, you're probably unsure of where you're at, as you should be. There are so many factors that come into play when playing these hands. I play them very cheaply early on, and get out when raised. If you can't fold, you can't make it to the final table. When it gets to blinds and antes, ...

Re(4): Continuation bets
Opponents on all levels won't allow you to use continuation bets TOO often. The better player will test you, and the donkey will get emotional and reraise you. So, moderation has to be key. When I make continuation bets, I pretty much know for certain whether I'm going to the river with my opponent or not (if not that means one of us will surely fold, if so, then I'm up against a donk, or I have a nice situation where he has 2nd best hand). If I'm going to the river, I know that the information given to my opponents will affect the way they play against me, therefore, I HAVE to have a hand ...

Re(2): paradise 50k
Looks like nothing you coulda done. He seems the type of player' that was committed to the flush from the moment he got the draw regardless of what you bet at any time. Those players are everywhere, and you made a super play IMO regardless of outcome because I can tell that you KNEW he would call. I do know that some players (not me) don't think of their call on the turn of an even bigger bet as a new bet, but as part of their initial call on the flop. Otherwise, on the flop, with their draw, they are consciously thinking that they have their 9 outs (he might have thought more with his ace ...

Re(1): Beating a big field
bfactor, I've tried it your way a few times, however, the situation didn't exactly allow me to play it to the tee. If you can believe it, I had to become much more aggressive pre-flop early in a 3.00 on Stars because the table was so weak, yet there was always at least someone that would call a pre-flop raise. So, early on, I was getting garbage, but when the position was right, and the right people in front of me folded, I would raised to like 12xbb. I wouldn't do it often, though, and I would try to do it when I had about 2 people limping in before me while I was in later position. I ...

I once watched gank doing 20 6.50 turbo's on Stars at once. How would you accomplish this just in terms of hardware (let alone mentally...lol).

Re(1): Pokershare is like UB on Steroids
Can you more than 3 table on this site' I mean, if you only 5 tabled, you would have 5 share pts an hour. 3 hours a day that's 15, plus any raked hands. 7 days a week and you have 105 plus points off ranked hands. Still, you would be putting in 21 hours on this site alone in order to get 500 points guaranteed. Of course, if you were winning, this would possibly reduce your time. Getting 500 in a month could be difficult if you were getting crap cards, and if you couldn't do more than 3 tables at once, but if you can, I can see getting 500.
