Re:Does anyone purchase entire beef tenderloins? Simple to do. Yank the "chain" off first thing. Basically just scrape that yummy flesh off and use these smaller pieces for breakfast. Best steak and eggs ever. Probably 4 meals for breakfast on average size loin with these little morsels. Whole tenderloin kinda looks like a catfish with a little vision. Cut off the "head" portion. Clean the blue skin and all the grizzle you can. Square up ends of tenderloin and toss those pieces in with steak and egg "chain" meat. Cut the rest of the tenderloin to desired thickness filets and mow down. (Medium rare btw, only ... Posted in: Off Topic |

Re:Acts of Kindness ($20.00 to the winner) I was in a verizon store and a couple of Army service people(couple) were debating who should get their cell phone activated first. The other couldnt get theirs for another month or so. So overhearing this I paid for both. Yeah its financial but its all I got. Posted in: Off Topic |

Surviving a STEM CELL transplant.... First off let me say it feels awesome to be able to access PocketFives again. On the hospitals WiFi network, any site that has the word gambling associated in the search isn't accessible while inpatient. I am not a big poster on here but, I am so happy to be back home. I just arrived here yesterday. I was diagnosed in May with pretty much the rarest of Leukemias. T-Cell Prolymphocytic Leukemia. It has a median survival rate of 7.5 months from the time of diagnosis. My only chance at long term survival was a stem cell transplant. I wasn't able to find a "perfect" match. They ... Posted in: Off Topic |

Re:Migraines-- Crazy Idea! A significant portion of migraine headache diagnosis' are incorrect and are caused by TMJ(temporomandibular joint) syndrome also see:Trigeminal Neuralgia. from Wikipedia: There is a variant of trigeminal neuralgia called atypical trigeminal neuralgia. In some cases of atypical trigeminal neuralgia, the sufferer experiences a severe, relentless underlying pain similar to a migraine in addition to the stabbing pains. Re:Pros and Cons of Stem Cell Research?? Will send $10 on stars or ftp Pertinent topic to me. I just had my 2nd stem cell "donor" cancel for my transplant that was suppose to take place October 31st. NO reason given. If stem cell research wasn't so controversial (to some) we could register everyone and save 100's of thousands of lives a year (or more) I could write a book on the topic of adult and embryonic stem cell research. Admiral has the best answer though. Since you have a computer that is all you need (along with time) There are studies that fetal stem cells can be harvested without killing the fetus. These articles explain a bit ... Posted in: Off Topic |

Re:Innovate to Cut Health Costs I am a chiropractor, with a history of 12 cervical surgeries and am having a stem cell transplant on October 31st. I say only this as background. First: We have the best medical care available to anyone in the world right here in the ole USA buuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuut.. it's..... a wasteful and unfair system in many ways. Some unfair practices are: The uninsured are billed the FULL AMOUNT of the services rendered and are expected to pay that amount. Whereas people with insurance ultimately do not pay the full amount of services rendered. Ex.1 My visits for my chemo three times ... Posted in: Off Topic |
