Re(1): Is there ever a time NOT to add on in a rebuy? i was in a $10 rebuy on FTP and was the chip leader by the break...but i added on for 2000 chips anyway cuz i heard thats the "right" thing to do...well long story short...i took some bad beats and was knocked down to my last 2000 in chips...i ended up coming back to win the tournament...after that experience...ill ALWAYS add on cuz you never know when your add on will come in handy..it could be the difference between cashing and losing. sometimes it's just not meant to be..a tournament story (very long) Disclaimer: i do not think i'm a great player or anything so my thought processes may be off...i'm just writing what i was thinking at the time...if there are some glaring errors in my game...i am open to constructive critism and hope to improve...oh and to the grammar police...i purposely wrote it the way i did as it is easier for me to just type it out instead of using proper punctuations some of the info may not be 100% accurate but it's as closest i can get it using my memory (which i think is pretty close to being almost 100% accurate)...mostly the chip counts have been rounded for ... Re(1): What is the Relative Worth of Reaching Full Tilt's Iron Man? ive made ironman for the last 6+ months...i have cashed in the freeroll everytime because they pay like 30% of the people...usually around $75 dollars...but ever since the medals...ive switched to medals since i dont usually want to play on saturday afternoons....however playing in the freerolls has way more upside than the medals but the downside is worse too...its just preference...do you feel like rolling the dice or just taking a small win Posted in: Poker Discussion |

Re(2): Is online poker legal in Japan? lol at "they have internet in japan'" comment...japan is probably more techincally advanced than the U.S. At least the general public is, the newest tech stuff in the U.S. is outdated in japan for the most part. Posted in: Poker Discussion |

Re(2): anyone else get cash on FTP? I do not have a deal with anyone and I never got rake back in my life. If I'm not wrong, I think rake back is for cash game players and I just do SNGs and MTTs. Is there a promotion going on with FTP and I won' Posted in: Poker Discussion |

Re(1): Consecutive SNG Cashes i cashed in 9 out of 9 in the $100-$200 SNG's and also had an 8 out of 8 run in the same level at fulltiltpoker in the same week...was ranked as high as even #2 in the average profit area at the $100 stakes on sharkscope...however what goes up must come down...i went on the worst downswing of my life about 2 weeks ago and still recovering from it...lol Posted in: Poker Discussion |

wsop chips and my pet peeve So many of you know that at this year's WSOP, everyone will receive double the chips they previously did in the past years. For example, they will give 20k in chips for $10k main event. They said they are doing this to give more "play" which would benefit the better players. However, what I have a major problem with is that more chips does NOT mean more play. That is because with the double chip counts, the blinds also start twice and high and many of the in between levels have been cut out. This is a pet peeve of mine and does anyone else think they are stupid for doing this' These people ... Posted in: Poker Discussion |

Re(1): is it just me or is this a horrible play? if you were on the bubble...i wouldve called to allow others into the pot while leaving myself room to fold if someone woke up with a hand and pushed behind...therefore you can maximize the chance of you making the money while not leaving it up to the poker gods...just my 2 cents Posted in: Poker Discussion |

a question for solid or ranked mtt players what percent of the time do you guys get eliminated from a tournament because of a bad beat'...untimely flips'...bad play' here is how i got eliminated in the last 4 tourneys (small sample i know) all on ftp relatively deep in the tourney and not desperate for chips: *$1060 buy-in...my AA vs 77 all in preflop...river 7 *$163 buy-in...my QQ vs AJ all in preflop...river ace *$1060 buy-in wsop qualifier...my AQ vs AA...i played this bad...thought i could squeeze the cutoff raiser out (who had AA so he wasnt going anywhere) when the sb called...but we both had pretty decent stacks and no need ...
