PokerStars 5 Card Draw Question
Has anyone noticed that a large % of players that are playing 5 Card Draw on Pokerstars have Kiev as the city that they are from' I googled it and it is the capital of Ukraine. Would this be suspicious to you' Would you leave if you were playing someone from Kiev heads up and then someone else joined the game that was from there as well' Something just seems fishy to me about this. Or maybe there is just a lot of 5cd players there. Thoughts'

My first bet.... Elementary School I was sick or stopped up or something and for some reason I was hacking up loogies and spitting into my chocolate milk carton during lunch. I bet someone at the lunch table that they wouldn't drink it for a couple $5 baseball cards. I was joking around but before I knew it he grabbed the milk carton and chugged it down. To my disappointment it didn't even make him sick.

Oakland/Bay Area Casinos
I am in Oakland working the Raiders game this weekend and I thought I would try to find a place to play while I am here. We went to this place called San Pablos(maybe') and I was not impressed at all. The waiting list was really long and it was $100 buyin for a $2/$2/$2 table (there is a $2 blind for the button''''). My buddy played some blackjack and they CHARGED him $1 a hand rake to play... so sick. Is there any place around that anyone would recommend' I am looking for something like $1/$2 NL. My buddies are looking for video poker and/or blackjack that doesn't do ridiculous stuff like ...

build your own. It will be cheaper and probably nicer than one that you can buy. I have never built anything before and mine turned out pretty good (therefore it's not too difficult =-) ).

I caught the owners brother, who is an employee, playing on FT one night. I will use the fact that it is installed on his machine as some sort of diversion if they ever say anything to me about P5's or Cardplayer.

I am disappointed!!!! 11th place! I do decent in sit-n-go's but I am a horrible MTT player. I really wanted to put my best effort into this tourney. I thought I played very well and was extremely patient. 2+ hours in I was the chip leader briefly and stayed in the top 10 for awhile. I guess I stayed too patient and didn't try to steal enough. This is the first time I have cashed in a MTT in the last 342342343 I have played. I outlasted Bax, Sheets, Mindwise, ActionJeff and almost everyone else that played yet I am disappointed. exactly gianmarco!! That's the mentality to have. I have a hard time getting caught up in avg. chip stack, chip leader, how many people's left, etc. etc. I have been trying to think more about surviving. I think it would be more beneficial to think in terms of.... i have been playing for 1.5 hours now and I have to survive for 1.5 more. This is hard for me to implement and I see the opportunity to get a huge stack or double up or sometimes just get back in the game and push things a little too soon and that usually results in the donk off.

i did the same thing last night... 8k in chip in about 20 min. got hit w/ the deck early.... didn't make the first break. I try to be patient and I am for the most part but there always seems to be a spot where I lose all my chips in 1 hand (it's usually w/ AK too).

Bax, In your 2nd video you mentioned a couple times about some parts being boring and possibly cutting some of it out in the future. The post by Scha suggests that parts of the video are boring too. I have stories that are far worse than that but that brings up another issue. Are these players going to call ANYTHING if they have money in the pot' (BB/SB). In your case is she calling because she put her bet in on the flop' Can you really think K high is good when you come over the top of her' Here's mine.... Short stacked.. I think that is the question. What do you do against a table where a raise doesn't mean anything' For a raise to get any type of respect it has to be an all in. You can't isolate because if the entire table limps and you raise it up 3x, 4x, 5x... most will still call w/ their J6 off. Any thoughts'

This sounds exactly like the game I play at the local country club every other Thursday night. I too have thought about how to beat this game as it does feel like I am playing a $1.25 45 man turbo. I have had some luck playing in this however, where I went final table, first, third, final table during one stretch... therefore there has to be something that i was doing right to consistently go deep. One thing that I try to do is find a way to scare the table and set up a table image. That seems to be the only way to get the table to fold. For example, I busted someone on the first hand w/ ...

Sheets/Mindwise/Bax, I was wondering what your plans are as far as the rate that you will add content to the site once it offically goes 'live' and all of the kinks are worked out of the site, etc. etc. etc. I completely understand that it is a tremendous amount of work just to get 1 video up and it is obvious that a lot of work goes into each one.
