50NL: TPTK gets shoved into on monotone board in 3bet pot
the flop comes down, their eyes light up, they love their hand, they shove. youre a little ahead of some of his range, but waaaay behind the rest of it, so its prly a good fold. i'll give u that its close tho b/c of the random weirdness factor - 9c9x/QcQx happens too. You guys are doing it wrong. I sent an email to ftp saying I love playing on ur site, I dont play on any other sites, but I'm going to need rakeback to keep it that way. By the next morning I had 2 emails, one saying I'd been placed on a queue and a second sent an hour later that said congratulations you have rakeback.

dont forget pattern recognition and analyzing voluminous information to discern logical, rational thought. Jeffrey Deaver was a lawyer before becoming a mystery/thriller writer; hes written tons of novels, but also wrote a book on how to navigate law school. theres a section in it that deals with writing a personal statement for law school, so definintely check that out too. i think its called the Complete law school Companion or something like that. 1) definitely go for at least 8-10 tables to reduce boredom and variance, also might want to try a table or two of higher limits at the same time just to keep your game fresh. 2) As for strategy, you probably noticed all that goes out the window at microstakes. You can profitably call off whole stacks pre w/ KT+, any A. I'd say keep doing that through at least 50NL. Even if youre behind once or twice itll just keep you from going on tilt to suck out a few times. 3) Of course if you make a big score or deposit or whatever theres nothing wrong with moving up more quickly. No this is way off. its called youre playing within your BR at that level. Either youre +EV at a level or youre not. if youre + and youre not buying in full, youre throwing money away.

You have to factor in your own personal pain tolerance. Mine is pretty low so i stay around 50 buyins. ALWAYS buy in full to maximize profits. i mean, youre gonna be getting it in good most of the time, unless u suck in which case youre at the wrong level to begin with.

I guess even the pros need to be reminded: you want them to get it in bad. Big downswings are a normal part of the game. More importantly, if you keep your head, you can make all the money back and then some. If you dont, then youll lose a lot more. A little funny giving advice to the guy whose book taught me how to play poker but hey i hope that helped. jaykay24

I used to have to play 1 table at a time, but after getting used to 2, it was a quick jump to 6 and then 9. Closer you get to non-read based, robot poker the more tables you can play the more easierly. Much easier to multi cash than to multi mtt imo but a lot of people say its the opposite with the same rationale.
