smoking room debate However, as a smoker, I try to be conscious of my habit in regards to non-smokers. It's not that I am a second class citizens, it's that I need to be accommodating to non-smokers in closed surroundings. The habit is dirty. It leaves ash, trash, and the smell lingers. I'm sure it's pretty tilting for a non-smoker to be in that environment. In addition, Las Vegas is a smoker's paradise. You can smoke almost anywhere you want (sans poker rooms), inside or outside. No laws about being 20-30 feet from an entrance, just walk right in. I say keep the room non-smoking, the night you bring a girl back ... Posted in: Off Topic |

Anyone that has ended a rental agreement. Check out the Arizona Landlord Tenant Act. You've got rights protecting you from getting screwed over like this The link is from the AZ Attorney General's site about your rights as a tenant. Below is a link to the actual Landlord Tenant Act. This is the ammo you need to protect yourself. If your landlord is smart, once you start quoting this, they should come around. Can you see the past if you are light years away? The universe is a pretty big idea to wrap your head around, so I'll keep things simple, and give an example of inside our solar system. When you look at the sun, you are looking at the position of the sun 6 minutes ago. It takes 6 minutes for the light of the sun to reach the Earth. You are constantly witnessing the past, you never see the actual "present." Granted, being 10 feet away from someone and watching them fall may seem instantaneous, but it takes time for that light to travel. Posted in: Off Topic |

Re:Accounts Hacked, Lessons Learned I just wanted to throw some free advice back your way. Macs are just as susceptible as PC's to exploitation. Years ago, when Macs used the PowerPC processor, you may have been correct. But ever since Mac started using Intel chips to power their computers, they opened the flood gates to every vulnerability a PC has. Re:No P5s Live for the wsop? No P5's Live team this year. They took losses with this venture in previous years, and couldn't really justify putting another team together, and lose money doing it. Attempt to track P5'ers at WSOP Unfortunately, Pocketfives is not tracking live tournaments at this time. With the WSOP just days away, some are planning their departure for Sin City, some are already there. But some just won't be able to make it. P5's Live was a great site to keep track of the progress fellow members were making in tournaments. Since they won't be there this year, I'd like to try and do something to update the masses. But I will need the help of those playing in the events. Social networking seems to be the easiest way to make content available, Twitter in particular. Players could tweet ... Re:If you don't like Lost.... What I don't get is how there are Fringe fans who won't watch Lost. Fringe is another great show produced by Bad Robot, and it kicks the shit out of X-Files. I still remember when I watched the first episode of Lost. It seemed a little slow going, but it intrigued me enough that when I started watching the second episode a few months later, I finished the first season the next day. LOOOOOSSSTTTT!!!!! Re:Why is FTP's traffic down? I know I play less at Full Tilt because of their support. I started putting volume on Pokerstars this year, and have been 100% satisfied with my experience with them, while playing and away from the tables. Their support, feature set, games offered, schedule, and rewards system are superior to Full Tilt. They don't offer rakeback, so Full Tilt has them in that department. I had a thread last month about the P5's Live site, which let to a lot of talk about revamping the site for player posting, like hosting blogs, or connecting twitter accounts to view on the site. I spoke with Adam about this, and he seemed very positive about getting some type of medium set up on the P5's Live site. Should I move forward with the notion that nothing will be done to P5's Live for the WSOP' I am trying to implement some type of tracking for P5'ers at the WSOP this year, so I want to plan accordingly. Arizona has always been on the border of Mexico, and it has always bordered New Mexico. Obv Mexico's national language is Spanish, and New Mexico has two state languages, English and Spanish. Here in Arizona, we live in cities called Mesa, Guadalupe, Casa Grande, etc. Street names are posted in both Spanish and English in parts of the state. In reality, it's a mixture of both, but it boils down to winning, or the allure of winning. If you are having fun playing the game, I say keep playing. However, it is clearly affecting your life. I can compare online poker to World of Warcraft in a lot of ways: The hours involved, raids vs MTT's, XP vs $$, and more importantly, addiction. Re:help with my resolution set up First off, what type of TV are you trying to connect to your laptop' Is it an older tube TV, or is it a newer HDTV' If using an older TV, your options are limited to a 640x480 resolution, maybe a blurry 800x600. If you are using a HDTV, will have more resolution options to choose from, up to 1920x1080. The next question is how are you connecting your TV to your laptop' RCA, S-video, composite, HDMI, DVI, VGA' Some connections offer better clarity and definition than others.
