Re(2): Vicodin and Poker? OC is a very different level of opiate than vicodin, or percocet even..... In all honesty, I play my best poker by far when I am on percocet. I had a script for a while and I don't know if I was just on a heater or what, but it helps my game...also weed and poker are a great pair Posted in: Poker Discussion |

Re(2): How long did it take you to/what was the turning point when you broke out? yes i am bragging about my illustrious mma career long before it was popular making $35 a fight, fucking glamorous I tell you......get a grip dude, you act like I said I fought in the UFC, like most MMA douchbags.....I started training when I was 18, got to travel, have fun, and had some good fights, still train, just don't fight, so get a life or stay off my thread, I was just asking a simple question using an analogy that I know well. How many mma fights do you have' and how many tournament cashes do you have' I want to hear from real players with real winning experience...thanks Posted in: Poker Discussion |

How long did it take you to/what was the turning point when you broke out? This question is geared towards the guys that make good money online, and buy good I mean making as much or more as you would with a degreed job (3-5k/mo.) I relate poker alot to my MMA game. I trained for about a year and a half before I felt like things clicked, and when they did, my game skyrocketed. Do you feel like its the same in poker' I feel like there are so many individual pieces that one learnsabout the game of poker, and it takes applying them all together to be very successfull, and as in MMA, you also have to have a transition game. Meaning, how you play the situation is as ... Posted in: Poker Discussion |

Need help changing gears So I am looking to the forum for a little advice. I have recently switched to mainly playing tournies online, and playing my cash games live here at the 'sinos. In tournaments, I feel that I play pretty solid in the first hour or two, getting my money in when I have good hands, playing positions, etc. I am a tight aggresive player by nature. My problme is when I get into the money, I am having trouble adjusting. How much do you guys open your range' At this point, are you playing the person as much as the cards' Any other advice' Thanks guys Posted in: Poker Discussion |

quick question about stars tournies.. So I get off work at 5, which now with the time change is when the $11 20k guarentee starts, which I like playing in. I only live about 8 minutes away. My question is, If I am registered in a tournament and it starts, and I am not online, what happens' Does it just consider me sitting out, or does it kick me out and refund me' I know I can take my seat, sign off then head home, was just wondering what heppens if I am not online at the start....Thanks ya'll Posted in: Poker Discussion |

Re(2): "I don't think Fedor is one of the top five heavyweights in the world," You guys are seriously high, Randy would have the best shot IMO against Fedor. Nogueira had his chance twice and got smashed, and he is an unreal fighter. You guys have no idea how good randy couture really is, Fedor is amazing, Randy is pretty close.... Posted in: Off Topic |

Re(2): getting back in shape There is a very simple formula that I use to cut weight both when I fight and wrestle, I also used this when I made the transition from being a college o-lineman to being a full time fighter ( I have been training since I was about 18, however the first few years fought as a super heavyweight because i was balancing mma and football) Anyway, I lost about 45 lbs simply cutting my calories back and burning more calories than I took in. Yes people are going to tell you you need to eat 6 times a day this and that, everyones body chemistry is different. I cut it back to about 1000-1200 a day while ... Posted in: Off Topic |

Re(2): Building a BR on stars, question for micro/low players For what it's worth......I started on Stars with $20 and played the .01 .02 cash games, built a little and moved up, honestly where I make the most consistent money right now is the .10 - .25 NLHE games, I feel the play isn't a whole lot better than the .02 .05 table, but you need to build to get there. Also, I play some sit n go's but mostly tournies. I would say once you have some cash built up, start playing in the sunday 100k, with some patience and a little luck, it is not hard to cash, even if its a small cash (yesterday I won 53.10) it is really good experience and a good feeling to be ...
