The answer is simple: Send them your profit graphs. If you are turning pro, they should show about double what you'll make in a year.

not motivated to do a 9 to 5 when I can make far more money from online poker!

Get it right, Obama!
He says as it related to marijuana: "I can't nullify congressional law. I can't ask the Justice Department to say, 'Ignore completely a federal law that's on the books.' What I can say is, 'Use your prosecutorial discretion and properly prioritize your resources to go after things that are really doing folks damage.' He should have said this about poker.

The rake is more than 7%, so it makes sense that you win chips and lose money with a -7% ROI. In fact, that's expected!

CISPA just passed the House vote tonight - Obama threatening to Veto
What I said about online poker was that Obama was less likely to veto a poker bill than McCain. I still believe that in no way were poker players worse off than they would have been under a republican president. It only made sense after the repubs shoved the UIGEA down our throats and put anti-online-gambling on their party platform to declare them our enemy.

It's a call that must me made. He only has to win the hand 40-45% of the time to make this call, and he's going to win if he calls at least 75% of the time.

Two SNG hands from this evening
1. Easy fold because you have the worst hand and very little chance to make the raiser fold with so few chips in a bounty event. 2. Call because you are beating the shover's range of hands and you need to regain your fold equity. Exception: Fold if UTG is proven to be trappy and this is his first limp all game.

Well, I guess Obama lost Jennifear's vote
Number of posts Jennifear made stating that Obama would save online poker: 0 The reason I encouraged us to vote Democrat is because the Republicans were attacking online poker. Sure enough, today is the result of the Republican's efforts to pass the UIGEA, and the Republican's refusal to overturn it. Obama never claimed to fight for online poker, but he was running against the party that had it on their national platform to abolish it. Hope that clears everything up.

You handled this well. By telling her it's over you made yourself a priority for her. Now it's up to her to compromise. Find ways that will make it easier for her, such as offering her a little extra cash to make up for her lost income and making promises about having her travel back home.
