I could EASILY down a gallon of chocolate milk in 30 mins, I just dont know about back to back. I love chocolate milk, plus im a BEAST when it comes to liquid, I down 2+ gallons of water/iced tea in a day easily.

If I was one of the ppl at the final table, id love it... id love the opportunity to have 3 months of making endorsement money, not to mention letting the hype build up for 3 months, get your name out there, and have a good shot at being picked up by a poker website as one of their pros (that alone would net you a shit load of money).

I have mine set up where it automatically deducts money from my savings and transfers it to my checking if I ever over draft. You should ask, most banks have a feature like this but dont really tell you about it.

Simply pointing out that hes spending a REDICULOUS amount of time earning an idealized $17.5/hr. You could easily get a real job making the same, working less hours, without running the risk of losing money and shortening your life by the stress you are subjecting yourself to. I play poker because it puts me through college. I cannot make as much as I make playing poker doing anything else in the mean time. So lets see... between stars and fulltilt ur up about 10k over the past 3 months. So about $3500 a month you have been making (this is running like "GOD" mind you...) Assuming you play 5 days a week (which is probably an underestimate), for min 10 hours a day (also underestimate), thats about 50 hours a week of play. $3500/month / 200 hours/month = $17.5/hr So $17.5/hr, which is almost certainly an overestimate, when you are self-admittingly running REALLY well, is this seriously worth your time'

^^^ all perfect examples of why simple mathematical models cant make you a winning player, nobody here has any results to speak of yet insist they know the answers to everyhting. ICM models assume your opponent plays perfectly according to ICM which we know just isn't the case. There is certain things you can only pick up through experience, and until you get out of this mindset and actually utilize the proven advice infront of you everyday, have fun grinding out that 0-1% ROI

Yeah ur probably right, I guess I managed to ride a heater for several thousand games, build a br from nothing, and luckbox my way to thousands of dollars. Weeeeeee I must run GOOD. And i guess you somehow just run REAL bad huh to not have better results' Weird how that works... The ppl who seem to have all the answers dont have the results. you're not looking to steal the blind, you're looking to double up. Raising and folding to a shove is the most disgusting option here. I shove your 3x raise allday long then procede to grind you down to nothing trying to wait out mr 400 chips while giving him courtesy double ups to preserve the bubble. I win this thing 75% of the time here with the 10.6k stack against you, such weak play. I'm not concerned about third here, I'm glad to get it in and have a huge shot at the win. The odds of you shoving JJ here and getting called by QQ, KK or AA is roughly 1.47%. The odds of your opponent making a comeback here to make the money is DEFINITELY above 1.47%, probably in the range of 8-10%. Trust me, I play hundreds of these a week, I see it everyday someone come back from 1 BB to win the whole thing... its just the nature of turbos. You need to learn to get over the fear of missing the money and making +EV moves whether they are comfy or not... its the only way you willl become a winning player.

Grinding is generally referred to as finding a small statistical advantage, and repeating the shit out of it. Generally playing many tables at once and putting in a rediculous volume to meet some sort of expected value by playing enough that you eventually outweigh the effects of luck. It is very much a grind because its a lot of work, and the emotional roller coaster that poker will put you on will rip the life and soul from your body until you become numb.

My home course back in high school was Torrey Pines, I used to love to carry around range balls there.... there were some awesome spots to hit balls down onto the beach. There was also this spot where theres a canyon with a big radio tower about 100 yds off the tee box. It was fun to try to hit punch shots to see if you could nail it. We also used to wait for ppl to go into the bathrooms on the course then hit punch shots into walls haha good times...

I like to carry around a couple range balls incase im on a cliff I wanna hit one off... or if theres a big canyon you can hit one into, or even sometimes some random shit you wanna hit a ball at. You would be surprised how often a range ball or two comes in handy...

Yeah the wheel is a little tricky to get used to, but once you are used to it its a nice addition to the game. Its also really easy to connect to online games... which presents a really awesome alternative to be able to race against 11 other real people as opposed to a bunch of computers. There is also a way to do time trials and have them ranked worldwide, which is really fun if you like to get competitive about things like trying to run the fastest race.

I would definitely agree with all your statements. My bigger point was that the engineering world with the financial support of the oil industry is looking for better alternatives of energy. I was simply trying to say that its gotten to the point where many people are essentially shifting their focus from finding more oil and how to extract it to finding entirely different alternatives and that we do not in fact have a petroleum reserve that will last us for much longer.
