One Man's Experience
as an ethnic looking person, this really is a huge abuse of power and an issue to be taken seriously. i have been stopped and pulled out of my car 4-5 times and treated exactly like this. it makes u feel helpless and is quite degrading :(

as enforcers of the law, police officers need to be held to higher standards. i see way waaaaayyyyy too many "police handled the situation poorly" videos and stories. idk if its just that they are highly publicized and a small number of incidents, or if there are a lot of incidents. also i think that there should be waaayyyyy stricter requirements, background checks, character evaluations, and like a college for becoming a LEO. so they are properly prepared for all sorts of situations like these and what appropriate actions should be taken
