This. Its a terrible system, much like the system that allows college football coaches to bail after signing one season and promising recruits in their living room that they are staying put. The NFL is littered with players who not only reported to camp like good soldiers, but did so after they were promised deals by their GMs, only to get left out in the cold when injury struck. Leon Washington comes to mind immediately. Don't hate Chris Johnson. Hate the system. And while you are at it, make sure to save some LOLs for the Titans giving him all that dough.

My bad. However, without doing a detailed study into it, my gut feeling tells me that Tea Partiers like O'Donnell, Palin, and Angle are the exception and not the rule. They are just the ones that get the most press because of their radical behavior and comments. Dyz is correct when he says that if the Tea Party as a whole was as radical as it is made out to be, Ron Paul would be front and center. Scott Brown was a joke. I said it at the time. He was elected simply because he was the anti-Obamacare vote the GOP needed. A monkey would have won that seat. Problem is you are gonna start seeing a bunch of faux Conservatives running as Tea Partiers in the coming elections. So far they have been good about weeding out the fakers but that is going to become more difficult. It's interesting, the more I think about it, the more I am thinking that RP winning the nomination (even if he lost the general) would be truly revolutionary. What is really best for this country is if the Republicans were forced to go back to their conservative roots and provide a real contrast between them and the Democrats. I'm not sure if I'm on the Ron Paul bandwagon just yet, but either way, I want him in the General, even if its as an Independent. His candidacy would be extremely important for the future of this country. Looks pretty certain that the GOP will take over the Senate and extend their majority in the House. In that scenario, Obama would be better for America from 2013-2016 than Romney would. Sad to say.

haha....i used "photographic memory" intentionally. I think people get too caught up in the comparisons that she makes......maybe it says something about her feelings that she instinctively compares homosexuality to something negative, but I think her comments ITT have been fine.....she is getting flamed because she made the posts....if the same posts were made by someone else, they would get treated wayyy differently

Oh I agree that the media coverage of RP is beyond disgusting. In fact, am I crazy, or was his little speech at the end where he kept talking about "when he gets into the top 2, etc....", an attempt to bring to light all of the media bias against him. I think it was. He had that "tongue in cheek" look when he was saying it.
