Looking for a backer
My name is Joe Hook and I am 32 years old. I've been away from online poker for a few years now and am looking to get back into it. Looking to start small and eventually turn it into a long time deal. I have never had a backer before, so I am kind of new to this arena, so please take it easy on the old man. I live in the USA, so the sites I can play on are limited, but I can put in hours to make up for it. If you have any questions or concerns, you can pm me and we can work them out. Look forward to working with you

Anyway I do not go broke here?
Ya my CB bet was really small inviting everyone into the pot. If I got called on the flop, i put 1 of them on Q10 and the other one on some sorta K or J with a bad kicker or 2 pair. They both called letting me to believe they each had one of these 3 hands. When the turn card came, I was convinced they did not call me with a gutshot 109. I didnt realize until the hand was over that 109 was a Double gutter. So when an ace or 9 didnt hit on the river, i was ready to lose all my chips if someone did have 109. Silly me... Flopping top set sux, unless someone has 2 pair

Does anyone lay down AK and AQ......
Ok heres the scenario, blinds are 300/600, player miniraises UTG+1 to 1200, then MP player pushes all in with 8900. I wake up with KK and smooth call. Then SB pushes all in for another 4700 and original raiser calls all in. The players that went all in here have 20+BB. The hands are: EP AQ off MP 1010 ME KK SB AK off and the winner is.......... Need help and adivce on how to approach a particular tourney
What I do for these types of tourneys is try and see some cheap flops in position during the first round, hoping to hit some flops and chip up. If that backfires and I lose some ground I am willing to gamble with 55+ and AJ+ when the blinds start to escalate during the second and third levels. With these types of tournaments you have to win the coinflip eventually so why not try it earlier then later, just my opinion. Hope that helps.

Big Hand 2/5 NL at the Taj
Why not bet the flop instead of checking it' With 5 people in the hand your obv gonna get at least one caller. New scenario, from the SB u lead with 100, intial raiser re-raises to 300 and the guy with the set goes over the top all in. Obv u push the rest of ur stack in and maybe the re-raiser calls or maybe he folds for the rest of his stack, either way u win a 1500-2k pot instead of 1200.

Busted playing in Washington?
Ha, LOL at this guy for saying he was fined. If I was fined for playing online poker, do u think i would be in a cardroom, playing 4/8 braggin about it' There is no physical way they can stop the 1000's of people who play poker online in wa state. I have lived here for the past year and have cashed out my fair of money from pokerstars and receive a check that says US bank on it. I simply take it to US Bank, they call to verify the funds are available and give me the money. Never had any problems with the process and the check doesnt say anything about poker on it. Had to add my 2 cents Hiz

Harrah's Kansas City
They have a 1/2 NL where the buy in is 100 to 80% of the big stack. Their daily tournaments are 30-100 buy in, but the most people that show up are about 20-30. If you do decide to play in a cash game get there early, bcause on fri, sat, there waits are 1-2 hour long. GL btw
