Re:SNG hand (bubble)
Jam pre is better, post flop line is read dependant. I think many agg players will bet this flop with their full pre-flop calling range when checked too, so if you think he's gonna bet it's fine

I experienced this yesterday aswell. My friend and I played approx 6 HU $2.20 matches even though he had only $1.07 in his account after the 3rd match, Neither account balance was changed after the 4th-6th matches, apart from the 6th, which he won.

Re:The switch from online to live
Some really good advice so far I think, appreciate the input. My local casino runs tournies starting with ~5000 chips with 20-30 minute levels. I'd consider a small buy in for a casino game somewhere around $100. I don't mind losing a bit of money if I can gain some decent experience playing, I just don't like the idea of only being able to play online. My roll supports me playing anywhere up to $200 tournies, although I think I might go a bit mad if I lost too many of these, losing money online seems to be alot easier to handle. I've definitely been noticing alot of ...

The switch from online to live
Hey guys, I've been trying to play a bit more live in the casinos around my town but with limited success. My main problem is the lack of blinds at the start of the tournament that makes me feel like I have to gamble it up straight off the bat. Also, I keep trying to say to myself "What would I do online" for every decision I make but it doesn't seem to be working. I get frustrated when people only bet with top pair. I was hoping to travel to Vegas this Summer and play some small buy in tournaments just to experience it, but am now terrified of donking off loads of cash. I ...

I think you spewed too, although it's an annoying spot. I think it's a fold~90% of the time, but could depend on player image.

Re:AhKh in the $55 last night on Stars
I call. While you're letting Ax take the lead from my experience his bet size on the flop will tell you alot about his hand, which will be far more than what you ahve to go on now. You have position, if you hit you can let him bluff at you. If you miss, you can re-evaluate the flop, but either way you still have a ton of chips, I don't think this is a good spot to go nuts in.

Re(1): Is this a shove for u?
It depends on the table, but 95% of the time I'm folding here. I think you still have one more orbit with FE. I dump, play through the blinds and re-evaluate shoves afterwards

ICM - Help?
Hello there! I decided to bring this hand up for discussion because I thought it was a particularly interesting spot, and because of this I decided to try my hand at some calculations. It's a pretty complicated one, but I feel like I could learn alot from doing it, and I want to share my thoughts with you. Ok, so this is the bubble of a $60 45 man turbo, the bigstack is shoving 90% of hands and is killing the table, he seems to know what's going on in terms of bubble play. When he shoves here it's gonna be any two, and so I gave him that range on pokerstove. Melikman, however, from my ...

Winning the big coinflip
Ok, so yesterday I had my biggest cash so far, but not before winning the biggest coinflip I have ever faced. Just wanted to let everyone who's grinding out big field MTT's with limited success that it can happen. I know what it's like to come 40th in the $3r consistently. I know what it's like to come 8th in a $10-$20 freezeout, when decent money starts at 4th. Yesterday I yet again face down the barrel of the gun. After grinding for almost 3:30 hours through a field of almost 650 players, this hand came up, with 5 left, and the difference between 1st and 4th at approx 1.3k... *********** # ...

Re(1): how do i make some money on this????
It's gonna be tough for anyone to call on the turn there without AA or KK at least. I don't think many people would look at this as a steal, if I was playing you it looks like aces I think. I may have lead out on the flop, if someone has flopped a small boat with something like 99 you may as well start charging them right there. The great thing about this is you could still get raised by the AA. I'd maybe min bet /2BB bet every street, but charge slightly more on the river.

A severely misplayed hand... I'm a sucker for implied odds..
Ok, long time lurker, first time poster. Just sat down to a .5-1 game of PLO on stars and this hand came up. While I know I'm going to get absolutely flamed for the flop call, I felt it worth the risk playing into the big stack. I did put him straight onto 888 on the reraise but felt if I hit I would get paid pretty well. However, clearly my logic was way off, I got incredibly lucky and got paid... Tell me what you think... constructively... PokerStars Game #4854265064: Omaha Pot Limit ($0.50/$1.00) - 2006/05/06 - 20:52:08 (ET) Table 'Leontina' 9-max Seat #9 is the button Seat 3: Frig99 ...
