Camcorders
I know OT has a lot of photographers, but I think most of them are more apt at still photos then videos. I'm looking to buy a decent camcorder, spending ~$500 and was wondering what kind of recommendations that OT has. Looking through reviews on Amazon/CNET, currently this Canon is in the lead. Anyone have a camcorder that they have been using (for whatever) that they would recommend' I'm just looking for basic video recording/family vacation type stuff.

Can't stop laughing at this pic
Did anyone else do this with animal crackers' My siblings and I would sit in the back our our van on road trips and just bash animal crackers together to determine the strongest. It was a fun way to kill an hour when you're 8....until you have to clean up all the cracker dust all over the back seat.
