Are sng's getting tougher for you? Personally I've noticed that a lot of the lower stake games are getting players that play by the book. ($5-$10 buy in) ABC poker isn't working as well. However, if you loosen up and play small ball min raise type of games...where you open up a bunch of pots and use continuation bets, you can crush some of these SNGs. I had some ridiculous stats a few weeks ago where I won about 50 pots without a showdown, leading to a 4 to 1 type of chip advantage once I got to 3 handed or so. There is a big trend I see amongst people my age...(at least my friends) that are college educated and even just financially couldn't handle the burden. Most of the people I see shooting out 4 to 5 kids are pretty dumb people who f'd up and had a few "mistakes" and now they just keep producing more. I used to go there and some of my buddies on the uconn women practice squad beat up on the women team. In a lot of these situations, directly after the hand I felt justified in my actions. However, further analysis proved otherwise. My biggest mistake was taking a stand against the wrong players. I had so many tables going on at once in most cases that I couldn't keep track of who I was playing. Just look at your situations. Post a few hand histories...and give us some details on player images. I've tried to limit myself to two tables. But I've fought back in some real horrible situations ...
