Flop and turn play w/ Kings vs. good & aggro villains
The advice to this thread receives a C-, at best. Poker will forever be profitable. Not certain how chk/call turn, chk/call or b/c the river were not discussed once' We have a hand that beats his range on the flop, and a turn card that 'scares us' that he can bluff at with JT, TT, JJ, QQ, etc. A lot of his range are hands that we beat, and if he indeed has the A we can control the pot size. /end rant

how to play bleedin omaha
Many people say if you can 3 bet AAxx where xx is terrible, and get 35% of your stack in PF is positive because your pot bet on the flop would be all of your stack. I am a firm believer that hands like AA49 should only be flatted, and folded to a three bet PF. However, AAJT double suited and AAKK double suited are hands that you are praying to jam in PF.

Deep Stacked 1/2 NL hand $750 Effective Stack Help
so let me get this straight: FLOP: $98 pot - villian bets $25, you call TURN: $148 pot - villian bets $35, less than 1/4th of the pot Villian doesn't think you ever have it, so you check raise when you don't have it yet to reopen the betting' Please god chk/call the turn and bet 75-100% of the pot if any of your outs hit, since they would be runner/runner and your villian would play right into your image. Does that answer your question'

Finally got a Win :)
It's posts like these that bring me back to the days where I was in OP's shoes. I have and will never be on the same levels as the true professionals, but when you accomplish something monumental don't feel like its not share-worthy. Congrats and keep the good attitude through the tough times as well. Those people end up the most successful in whatever they do. /philosophical rant

Healthy Meal Ideas
I honestly believe this is the crucial first step to building a successful diet plan that you can use long term (even past the 'dieting' stage) to maintain healthy eating. Was always a chubby kid, and similar to OP I wanted to play varisty basketball more than anything. All I did as far as eating was cut soda, overconsumption of juice and sugary drinks, and cut out fatty condiments (mayo, dressings, etc). Minimizes calorie intake more than people realize, and to begin with you probably shouldn't even change what you are eating for the first few weeks. Many diets change too many variables too ...
