$60 Live Tournament Tonight, strategy advice
Hello, So I am playing a tourney tonight at a local casino and the overall level is ok... I was wondering what strategy should I use early on the tourney... Usually the tourney is about 40-50 players so should I start tight or 3-betting alot early on' We get about 5k chips and blinds start at 25/50... also, what hands should I play early on... for example is 108suited playable early on'

I just want to hit 4,5,6-digit scores constantly in 2010... My game has gotten much better once I tightened up in MTTs and I feel I am bound to win very shortly... Watch out for me, bookmark me if you have to, I promise I will cause a stir in the poker world

Accumulating Chips Throughout a Tournament
*allcaps removed from thread title* If you happen to stumble accross this post, please, I need your input... I've been playing poker for a long time now but it has been usually straightforward poker. Whenever I play tournaments, I usually fold myself up to the money bubble if I make it, and then bust out shortly after that. I've read in some forums that accumulating chips late in the tourney is the way to go since blinds are worthwile so you should tighten up at the beginning. In another forum that I read, it said that it was better to be aggressive early since the blinds are not ...
