Re:Petition for Full Tilt Late Reg
The bigger the better! Late reg FTW on all GTDs... Superturbo's only 10 minutes.. otherwise it sucks to late reg.. but free monies for donks who register after 40minutes running.. so maybe late reg a full hour as well...!!!!!!! GOGO LATE REG

Re:Compliments to stars for the DEG!!!!
One more thing.. If stars is calling this a SUNDAY SPECIAL... wouldn't it be even cooler to have a special version of the DEG besides the (structure and) price pool...

Re:Compliments to stars for the DEG!!!!
TY Bryan and PS once again for this awesome new structure! At the moment is the avg stack 40+ BB deep... To make it even more better and bigger, I would agree with gags.. When you would make this tournament a 10K starting stack like the sunday million but keep the same type of structure, % wise (so if you increase the starting stack by ~30%, you increase the structure equally). This won't change the tournament but it will create a more special tournament. It would basically feel for most players like they play the sunday million with a big price and player pool, but for 1/4th of the ...

Re:How to calculate the % chance somebody behind you wakes up with a hand
This will another topic, but I think you would make a big mistake here. two extreme examples.. #Example 1: We play the NHG on stars. The final table pays: 1. 18K 2. 13.5K 3. 10K 4. 7.5K 5. 5.3K 6. 4.2K 7. 3.2K 8. 2.2K 9. 1.5K Let's say we play make 100 times the FT and we use a very aggressive approach, playing only to win. Gamble in every cEV spot in order to build a stack and gain all the chips. We will win 5 times, get 2nd 4 times, get 3rd 10 times, 4th 11 times and the rest of te time we bust at 8th place. This would give us a profit of: 5 * 18000 + 4 * 13500 + 10 * 10000 + 11 * ...

How to calculate the % chance somebody behind you wakes up with a hand
Hi All, I play on a mac and don't have SNG wiz or anything. So I only use excel to work on my poker game and try to work on some leaks/ranges etc. I have some spots where I need to calculate the odds then somebody behinds me wakes up with a hand. For example we have 12BBs from MP on a FT with huge payjumps and some 4BB stacks, we want to see if open shoving is +EV cEV wise, but also ICM wise.. Anybody any idea how to calculate if one of the 5 remaining players behind us would wake up with a top 5% hand'

Re:WTF Mini FTOPs Schedule
I understand your point, but FTP also has to satisfy the euro players. And I don't think these events will find any overaly in them. BTW.. aren't those off-game only played by Americans :P '''

Re:WTF Mini FTOPs Schedule
I'm not complaining, just saying that the schedules are fine as they are, suiting everyone, even though the US players have an advantage over the euro players. I'm not living in euro so for me that start a decent time. Just saying that asking for a schedule change is ridiculous if you consider the euro players. I would love to see the $109fo, $33r, $55shoot-out moved earlier, would be nice to go to bed a little earlier.. but hey, there are more ppl out there who would have it fit better in their schedule when it's at 21:00 PM

Re:WTF Mini FTOPs Schedule
Very selfish post.. consider also the euro players who already have a pain in the ass with the FTOPs schedules.. All these events last ~10 hours or more and they only start at 8PM euro time.... I think FTP should make a better schedule for the euro players for once. Best MTTs are only starting past midnight for the euro players ($55 shoot-out, $109fo, ME, $33fo etc.) It will be very hard for websites to satisfy all players..

Table resizing partition for PS and FTP and other sites....
Wouldn't it be great to have the option to set a certain size and click a button and all tables would take that preset size' The same idea like FTP has now with "Set back to Defailt - ALL" but then with your own preset size. Also when you play the next day, this size is automatically preset in the system. To Tile tables it would be a great feature for when multi-tabling on different sites at the same time.

Re:Frame of mind needed for MTT play?
All of that has to do with your mindset. As long as you get upset about your bad beats and let it influence your game, you probably need to focus more on that then on your 'game'. When playing MTTs, mindset is so important. I say this but I've got some problems now myself ATM.. For the last two months I've been getting killed. I just busted out of my last MTT today () getting a bad beat. It's been like this for the last two months, made tons of Final Tables but always busting ~5-9th, which pays out nothing compared to top 3. It's definitely hurting me a lot more now ...

Re:Frame of mind needed for MTT play?
Don't judge yourself on the $ you make, try and focus on your plays and timing alone. It's all about long term. You can bink a big score if you get lucky but this doesn't mean you are a good player. You can fail for a very long time, this doens't mean you are a bad player. Try to focus on improving and your decision making. That's all you can do and try to keep this in mind.

Re:Less Tables = More wins (Monday Trial/Experiment)
very good read this thread. I have to say that for most of the ppl, including me, it's better to one table when being deep. I get better and better having 15 tables open at the same time on a sunday for example and being at the last 2/3 tables in one of the first MTTs I started. Sometimes I spew it away too light, just because I have to much tables open and don't think three times about my decision. So question is.. should we play > 5 tables, or more.. I guess it all depends on your skills and practice. It will defiantly be worth it in the long run if you have the capacity/talent ...

Re:FTOPS and other online series.
FTOPS, SCOOP, WCOOP and all other events are great! The startstack is mostly deeper, the structure is better and there are more donks in those tournaments then in the normal high stakes MTTs. So yeah FTOPs is great!!!
