Re:early in mtts, ep, do you play jj-88 the same as lower pairs... It also depends on the level of play in the tourney and also how many BBs you have. even though you are putting somebody on a range JJ and 1010 are going to be slightly easier to play post-flop then say 88 or 99. I like the isolation bet especially if you have a few limpers and you have position. w/ a raise you have given a strong image and can use that post flop on dry flop, even if an over card to your pair hits. its obviously situational, but I think its easier to be the one applying pressure during the hand.
