Re(3): Harvard Ponders Just What It Takes To Excel at Poker
Guys, I believe the post by Peterpjames was copied from the hyperlinked forum within the article. It is not his statement but that of a poster within the forum linked within the above article. Similiar to this one from an oppsoing view within the same forum: The luck of the cards, or even the luck of the memory (and poker isn't a mathematical determination analogous to blackjack; it requires an entirely different set of equations to consider. Memory isn't at the core.) doesn't begin to address the skills of the best poker players. Good players are capable of getting weaker players with ...

Harvard Ponders Just What It Takes To Excel at Poker
Harvard Ponders Just What It Takes To Excel at Poker Prof. Nesson and Others Stress the Skill Involved; Why It's a Legal Issue By NEIL KING JR. May 3, 2007; Page A1 CAMBRIDGE, Mass. -- Four-time poker champion Howard Lederer makes a plush living playing cards. His scholarly calm at the table has earned him the title "The Professor," along with $3.3 million in tournament prize money. Just don't call him lucky. To describe poker as anything but a game of skill, he says, "is just wrong." Now poker fans in academe are jumping in to help prove that point, most ...

Re(7): Gigabet block theory
I always liked this one ... This post is in response to Irieguys Post "The Difference Between Success and Failure." Here is the link When I read Irieguys post I wasn't planning on responding, I rarely respond to posts, because most of the time I am the dissenter, and frankly, it isn't good for my long term financial situation. As I started reading the responses I soon felt obligated to respond. He is so close, but travelling in the wrong direction. The wording he uses in the text lets me know where he is at on the "path," so to speak(the very beginning). Let me ...

Dude, be sure to hit up Lily's Bordello off Grafton Street after racking in some loot. LOOL LOOL C'mon kid, stop faking the funk with Rammadan ... at least be straight up ... Allah Almighty commanded us to stay away from gambling in Noble Verse 5:90; "Eschew such(abomination), That y may prosper." If any Muslim has any respect for Allah Almighty, then he/she should obey His Holy Commands so that he/she may prosper. Mmmm about to eat this burger :-)

Re(3): For All Of You That Worship Ozzy 87..
It's between you and him; however, I do think that some of these promblems are symptomatic of online poker. I mean, shit, you are talking about $50k in 10 minutes .... gone just as fast as the quick, methodic keystrokes of 'BRB.' Personally, I do believer there is a poker etiqutte and that shit like this, especially at these levels, should not occur. That is why, in the old texan days, if you did some shit like this, you would be face to face with the guy who you just did it with, and there would be no typing, and some of these big, godly, online personas would get duffed out pretty ...
