judo is incredibly badass- I beat one guy in provincials twice when I was younger...he ended up representing Canada at the olympics twice and I watched it from my couch.

How do I fix my ___________ (any sport) thread
Not sure if there's enough interest to justify it's own thread, but I figure OT has enough guys who have coached and played sports at high levels that we can have a thread for anyone looking for help correcting a stroke/shot/looking for advice on a generic sports issue. Personally I have coached and played high level soccer+tennis+judo, and I know we have golfers, runners, hockey/baseball/football players etc. So post any videos/questions you have and an OT coach can get back to you with some advice.

OT Landlords
get some of the forms online, but in terms of personal preferences I highly recommend establishing rules for noise, when people can and can't be over, what common areas are being shared/how (fridge, stove, etc)...get as specific as you can. I know it might seem petty but otherwise these issues WILL come up, especially because you don't know these people. Set rules for when garbage gets taken out, when common areas get cleaned etc

not much to add other than what's been said, but you need to make sure you show her you're the man when you two are on the couch having a drink. If you sense she's antsy, just make a move. Women love that shit. If she seems to want to 'watch a movie' as some pretext, put the movie on and don't let 10 minutes pass before you make a move. If she wants to 'have some drinks', have a drink then make your move. the only way to fuck it up is if you DON'T make a move. so....... make a move.

How far is your commute?
5 minute drive to the parking lot then 25-35 minutes on the subway. For those that live in toronto it's basically sheppard down to union. The subway has a ton of delays but fortunately I barely have to take 5 steps outside from the subway to get into my office so weather doesn't affect my commute at all

Missed Game Winner
two summers ago I had a 6 game goalless streak in soccer at the end of the season/playoffs and then scored the tying goal with 3 min left in the finals. In OT I got an incredible pass from a midfielder and had a breakaway to win (golden goal). I tried to make one too many moves and ended up with a shitty angle so I had to take a tough shot---- hit the post, the goalie cleared it down the field and they scored 30 seconds later to win the title
