Calling a low stack shove with AK --- how many BBs will you call down?
You're asking me to fold the nuts to a free 150 beavers. Why would I!'

Calling a low stack shove with AK --- how many BBs will you call down?
I knew I reacted sarcastic in the first place but let me give you one bit of advice. Do not askfor generic advice in a rare spot. Like always in this situation 'it depends' and its silly to have some kind of standard here. Is it in the rebuy period and just some loose maniac trying to gather a stack' Obviously snap call up to infinite bigs, is it some nit on the FT bubble of the SM' Might want to fold for as low as 10 bigs. This is a special situation, it is not standard to have people whacking 30BB UTG all the time so there is no standard right or wrong. If a 10bb stack jams UTG and his ...

Calling a low stack shove with AK --- how many BBs will you call down?
Actually he said low stack which is not all that relevant because he asked for an amount of biebers where you'd generally fold AK.

Article: Daniel Negreanu: Phil Ivey is the Only One Who Took a Stand Against Full Til
Horrible quotation in this article, if you watch the interview he clearly makes a joke when he says 'pin it on the black guy', he does not defend Ivey by saying he was the only one to make a stance but rather says that Ivey is just like the rest of the guys (Seidel, Juanda etc) but was the only person to make a public statement. This was his response when asked why people are going after Ivey specifically. His defence for Ivey is that Ivey knew nothing about te inner bussiness dealings and is therefor not guilty.

Congrats Moorman1 on $8M in Career Cashes
This. I think it was after he got 2nd for some odd million euro in the WSOPE that he was grinding 2 days after on a Tuesday, starting it up with the 265 KO etc but also grinding the 8r and Big 8.80. A lot of people would feel themselves way too big to even include those in their tourny filter, let alone be able to grind them properly. Yet there he is, grinding them out. His amount of discipline is what distinguishes him and puts him so far ahead of everybody else. Yeah, get that 10m cash badge already - would have to be one of the sickest online poker achievements of all time.

Its proboly because you think you are a "good solid player" and is blinded by that thought to obvious mistakes and thus will never improve.

Hotmail Account Hacking, money stolen from poker accounts
I use a seperate email for my poker accounts, so I have one email for my general mail, I use to sign up sites etc and one that I solely linked to the poker sites I play on. I've heard that most passwords get cracked by the type of fishing C_Bomb described. Also getting an RSA token is almost mandetory if you keep 5k+ on your account, if you're playing on a site that doesnt give out RSA tokens I'd advice keeping your BR on Skrill and just keep a tiny amount on the account itself (you generally don't need most of your BR when playing MTTs anyway), Skrill gives out RSA tokens these days.

A tough river spot for trip 9s against a tight opponent in a cash game
I'm pretty sure that if he's only half decent he's going to bet Ax on this river like always. Esp big Ax's because you could have easily called the flop with A-high. His valuebetting combo's you beat > than combo's that beat you so that makes it a 100% callm esp if you throw in a few random bluffs(like a gutshot, 87/67 which he will almost always fire turn with) and you're getting odd's on a call and only need to be right here about 35% of the time makes this a mandetory call.

A tough river spot for trip 9s against a tight opponent in a cash game
He's going to be valuebetting a ton worse (Ax mainly) and he's going to be bluffing quite frequently here as well (using the A bluff card) trying to get you to fold some middle-ish pair. Plus he could be valuebetting 98/910 which you split with. If you're thinking of folding at this point I really don't see how you can profitably call this preflop vs described player.

Flush draw with two overs confusion, a little help needed
That rule of thumb is designed to calculate your rough equity according to the number of outs - it is not an actual mathematical formula to calculate equity. In the case of the AQ hand - you do not have 30 outs since you currently have the best hand - your hand does not need to improve, therefor the rule of thumb when calculating outs is not relevant.
