Your opinion doesn't really matter though. NFL GM's and coaches are the only ones who do, and history has shown that character issues cost you $$. I agree that smoking is not a "character issue" and maybe you should test for alcohol too, but they don't and thats how it is. I rarely see these, and never parked in one so whatever, GFY a-hole. I did sprain an ankle once and was disgusted that there wasn't a "it hurts to put pressure on your bad leg but its temporary" space though.

I guess I don't really get it. So these "for families with children" spots, any couple with an able bodied 12 year old kid can park there' Does it have to be multiple children' Is there an age limit' Does gender have anything do do with it (sons are a lot more energetic and harder to look after)' Fuck all that, don't shit out 4 kids in 5 years or whatever if you can't handle it. I understand the expectant mothers case, but at the same time, nobody forced you to get pregnant (hopefully), deal with the consequences.

I thought NYC would be pricier actually, though I get the feeling you don't know what you are getting into at $1200 a month .5 liter bottled water- average price of $1.25- $2.50/bottle----Same as Seattle Plain slice of pizza (except the $1.00 per slice places which serves smaller slices)- $2.25 and up.---Same as Seattle Street vendor hot dogs- $1.75 and up.--They don't have the shitty little hot dogs in boiled water here, It's $3-$4 minimum "Okay and safe enough area" 1 br apartment in Manhattan or in some of the more accessible places in the surrounding boroughs or NJ- average ...

While I admit I did not think of that, I would be very suprised if they will let you through by boat/plane/train and they didn't let you in by car. Whats to prevent you from renting a car in Vancouver when you get across and going on a drunk-driving spree' The point is they do not want you in their country. Like I said, they run your passport and check you for warrants/any crimes that would prevent you from entering their country which includes DUI's

Yeah there is no way that you are getting across. I had friends that got turned away for that very reason I think like 4-5 years after they got a DUI. I know that there is a legal process that you can go though to get it taken care of with the Canadian government but it costs a lot more than $250-$1000. I read in a Seattle Times article a couple of years ago that there are a couple of lawyers up in Bellingham that pretty much only do those cases and they charge like 5K a case.

I disagree with this entirely. Those Kenyans have to be in better shape than the ancient greeks. Specialized diets, nutrient testing, training programs ect. developed by modern science have pushed the limits on what the human body can do. Evolution does play a role as well. If it didn't, there would be no reason that eskimos or samoans or whomever, wouldn't do as well as kenyans in these races. Their bodies have been conditioned for it through years and years of evolution.

need advice for losing weight
I played football in college then got pretty fat so I decided to do something about it. Started the workout/diet at the start of february. 6'-237 LBS, pretty fucking fat. Go to the gym 6 days a week, cardio everyday. Mostly treadmill for cardio but if my legs are sore, I ride the bike. Stretching pre and post run are key to being able to not having sore legs and keeping up a cardio routine. I could only run 3/4 of a mile without stopping at the beginning of February, now can do maybe 3. I always put in about 5 miles total, about 45 min-1 hour, running about 75-80% of that 5 miles and walking ...

well it was a she, and I couldn't tell you if the guy threw down his cards first or if the river was dealt, pretty much happened at the exact same time. I agree with the dealer retrieving the card issue, but a lot of places say if it touches the muck, its a dead hand.

The floor ruled in my favor. The big thing was that the unexposed card hit the burn cards, if they hadn't I would have been SOL. Even still I'm pretty sure that they could have seperated the right card but not 100%. I only asked about an ethical dilemma because I felt bad, even though that suckout would have angered me. I didn't give him any chips although if this would have happened at a casino where I was a regular and new the opponent at least as an aquaintance, I probably would have given him some chips. This is sort of correct. TV baseball games, other than the playoffs are painful. Going to the games however, are fun. If you are able to go to the games, i.e. you live in that market, you will probably become a fan of that team. Football games are good in person or on TV so you do not just have to go to the games to become a fan of that team.

Planning a snowboarding trip - Need halp!
Big Sky Montana. 4350 vertical feet, like 3rd in the country. Over 5000 skiable acres, top 3 in the country. Longest ride is like 6 miles. Consistently rated by ski magazines as a place with little to no lift lines. 400 inches of snow a year (more than aspen, vail, park city ect.) Lift tickets and lodging are cheaper than in CO, UT, Sun Valley ect.
