Re:bankroll management for live cash
I play anything from 10c/20c to 3/6 bux with a bankroll of approx minus USD 2,000. Feel pretty comfortable with that.

Re:Great idea for a grinding bet, based on golf
Thanks Still looking for more interest and somebody who could run this. I'd be happy to give the tools and work on the details with that person. We could do a trial on low/mid buy-ins on a sunday soon.

Re:Great idea for a grinding bet, based on golf
It would not be that difficult when you understand the spreadsheet I have prepared. It would be long though since the organizer would have to enter in the sheet the tournaments, number of entries, buy-in, pars (all of this once per tournament), and then the finish position of all participants. Although I believe for a 20 ppl competition, 1-2 hours would be needed after the last tourney is over to come up with the results. I'll try to upload a googlesheet later.

Re:Great idea for a grinding competition, based on golf
I am almost the boss, I do have a boss who cares about having the work done. I delegate the work to my team. And to my boss i would call that brainstorming an idea. I am in the business of creating BS out of my brain: PR.

Great idea for a grinding competition, based on golf
I was daydreaming at the office today, and when I daydream, I think about poker, or golf. Today I mixed the two and came up with a crazy fun idea for a grinding competition based on a golf scoring system. The ideas for bets around this are limitless. Unfortunately I would never have the time to run this, because I am not a grinder, I don;t play much online, and I have a demanding full time job. So I am throwing the idea here for somebody who would be interested in running this. The concept: 18 tournaments (best for Sundays for obvious reasons) that would compose the 18 holes of a golf ...

Re:online gambling article written by clueless Univ of Illinois professor
Interesting, he forgot to mention that legalizing online gambling would: - increase the price of pizza delivery - increase the price of slippers and boxer shorts - increase the price of empty plastic bottles - increase the price of pixels - create a check raise bubble All known factors of a massive global economy crash On a more serious note, he also should have mentioned that legal online gambling will create a surge in: - Child pornography and animalism - racism towards neo-nazi populations - Bahamian palm tree extinction - North Korean nuclear power I forgot what the last one ...

Re:FTP random Bonus?
Now I know why: Who is Eligible to Receive a Holiday Hundred Bonus' If you’ve made your initial deposit at Full Tilt Poker and finished any active bonus by 18:30 ET on November 15th, you’ll receive a Holiday Hundred bonus offer immediately. So they were right, i did not lose enough. Will not deposit more just to get free money... If I have to lose 200 to win a 100, doesn't seem free anymore.

Based on reads, the guy has a 12 cards strait flush draw. You are still a favorit, but since you run bad, fold. He will hit his As on 9th street for the nut 13 cards SF.

Re:WCOOP Main Event "Udon Wannit" (multi-acct. ?)
World class level' I was in awe at the level of play by most players at the final table, but I remember looking at his stack going consistently down, wondering wtf is he doing, checking the HH history, and having to scroll way up to see him take down a pot. at the time it was 5 or 6 handed, and he'd won 3 or 4 pots since the beginning of the FT, for probably around 100 hands (somebody have the HH' might be less, I didn't count). I was thinking the guy knew he would get crushed if tried to play and folded to higher paying spots.

Re:WCOOP Main Event "Udon Wannit" (multi-acct. ?)
Gawd every time guys. Stars should only allow players with 2 years experience on their site and at least 10 tournaments a day to play WCOOPs and SCOOP... oh and the million. Scratch that, they should only allow their pros to play on the site to avoid any controversy, possible cheating. I'm no big expert, but I saw the guy fold close to 40 strait hands on the FT yesterday, shove 2 or 3 times when he got short, and fold to 2nd place. Everybody else was playing, he was not. There are many ways to stumble upon some money, especially if you are a poker player, you're a gambler: Live ...

Re:Unassigned
OOOOOO... Now I understand why he had his own tourney in macau during the APPT, the Terrence Chan $2500 6 max limit holdem. Half the field had no idea it was a limit tournament, including myself. Terrence was seated to my left on the 1st table and explained to me how limit works. Real nice guy. I outlasted him though. Bubbled the thing.

Re:Just for fun, what's the worst hand of your life?
Easy one for me: My dream is to play APPT Macau, I'll actually be in Macau during the APPT and am not sure if I'll play the main event because I have to sattie in first or win the buy in at the cash table. I only play online to try to qualify for this. Now to the hand: 20r sattie to APPT Macau, i'm in for $60 117 players, one $8500 package paid, nothing for 2nd. FT, 9 players left, this is for a 2/1 chiplead over the 2nd in chips: PokerStars Game #29942016144: Tournament #174791598, $20+$2 Hold'em No Limit - Level XIX (8000/16000) - 2009/06/30 21:39:03 CCT [2009/06/30 ...

Re:Just started playing FTP. Rakeback Q?
First of all, thank you Adam for editing the 1st post, apparently I'm not the only one with Qs on this. I emailed both P5 and FTP, both answered no more than 4h after my email. I was pleased. P5 told me to register my FTP details on P5 Rakeback site, but I opened my account in 07 (although I never played for real money until last Sat.), and they only offer 08 and 09 as as year the account was opened. Waiting on feedback as to how I should proceed. FTP told me they forwarded my request to and I should hear from them. I went ahead and registered an account on their site and now I'll ...

Re:Just started playing FTP. Rakeback Q?
You sure know how to put things simply. Based on your post, I could get rakeback if I begged since I went strait to FTP website to DL the soft and never put in an affiliate code. But who should I beg to, FTP or the rakeback affiliate (which would probably be P5)'

So I have to go through an affiliate' You don't get it strait from FTP' I guess since I didn't deposit there's no way I'll get rakeback, but would be good to know for the future.

Just started playing FTP. Rakeback Q?
Hi all, I created an account on FTP around 18 months ago, but just started playing on it a few days ago. A friend transferred me a few bucks to try it. I read a lot of things about FTP rakeback, but not sure I am entitled to it, and if I am, is there anything I have to do to get it' How does it work' Thanks
