anyone get their ipad2 yet?
two ipad2s, sell one on ebay :) I received mine this morning. I did not get any email about when it would be delivered but it just came. All-in-all, it took about 5 1/2 weeks.

Congrats! Regarding your theory, I'd imagine they would have stocked and gotten a bulk volume discount knowing that a lot of people would be able to complete the challenge. Btw, I received a couple of emails literally after my "lights in the tunnel" comment. They were not able to confirm my shipping address initially; however, i didn't get a tracking# .

Hey Rizen, thanks for starting the thread. Two things I'd like are: - more color schemes for the mini mode - register to more than one SNG at once. no need to confirm if registered successfully (so no need to click ok). maybe can have something like cash games where i can register to similar games one time and it will prompt me each time a new one becomes available.

There is an important question I forget to ask, how many tables do you fire up each session' Seems to be a lot of people favoring HEM, I actually started using PT3 and seems to be fairly decent. Does anyone know what the Rake and MGR columns represent' Is one of these columns use for calculating the actual rakeback amount' Thanks all and please keep the stories coming.

Switch to cash game success stories
Grinding MTTs for hours and not making final tables are dreadful financially and mentally. Wondering if there are success stories out there with people making the switch mainly to cash games. Basically, I would like to ask: - How long has it been' - What stakes did you start from and what are you playing comfortably in now' - How long do you grind daily' - For those who grind on Stars that doesn't have rakeback (if I am correct), how can it be +EV' - Lastly, if you don't mind, what is your average weekly/monthly winnings' Hope to hear some good stories.

Looking for a poker buddy
I have a f/t job, so I am not a grinder but just a recreational player. I like this game very much but is hard to find anyone to talk strategies, hand histories, etc. As for training sites, nothing against their nature (and not being cocky), I've played enough hands to understand the basics. There is a chinese saying which translates into something like "Reading thousands of books is not as useful as travelling for thousands of miles; you learn more from practical experience than from theory". Do you think it's bad luck...
to build up a huge stack at the end of the rebuy period' 3x I have built up over 30k in stack in a $10R and I'd bust out before the 2nd break starts. I am not playing crazy loose at all but I would usually lose a few flips against a few very small stacks and making big calls with many outs only not hitting them.

Staked vs. Non-Staked
Any reason to believe staked players have an edge over non-staked players in terms of skills level as well as scores' I mean it seems they get backed to play in many high buyin games; thus playing/learning with many highly skilled players.

Letting It Out FTW (long, read at your leisure)
I always held back on ranting and berating when it comes to bad beats. I believe there is new hope tomorrow for it's a fresh new day and things should get better. Probably doesn't make sense talk about the bad runs/beats, as we all have encountered one way or another. I just need to let this crap (whatever it is) all out of my chest so that maybe it will just stop messing with my game. Picking up KK and gets all-in against AA - or picking up AA and gets sucked out, proceed to lose huge stack but manage to get ITM...for the bottom payout.

Depends...if there were people around me, I'd just say "shit" or yell "eff" otherwise - add some facial expression if necessary. I then close the table/tourney labby after I've finished recording the tourney data into my spreadsheet. On to the next thing.
