Re:My BigGovernment.com Article on Jon Kyl
Engineer - Have you considered putting something on ' That site and it's founder (Erick Erickson) have been steadily increasing their profile in the mainstream media. While we will never get the support of the religious right...we should be able to find some common ground with the small government/tea party/libertarian sections of the conservative movement.

Poker Nordica
Is there an issue with Poker Nordica Rake race reporting ' It hasn't been updated since 1/6 and it appears that the December Rake Race payments haven't been made yet.

Finished with Stars
Not a big fan of the "online is rigged" thing...but I recently started playing again on Stars after not playing there much over the last few years as I chased bonuses/rb elsewhere. After a few weeks of non-stop bad beats and runner-runner suckouts, I just don't trust the Stars RNG at this point. I am done with Stars. Just needed to vent.

Hey XXXX, Make a minimum deposit of $50 or more before May 28th at 11:59PM ET using the deposit code: EXTRASLICE and you’ll receive a 25% Reload bonus (Max reload bonus is $100). Re:New Letter to Congress -- Please send
Got a quick response from the Congressman who represents my district...although he didn't take a stand one way or the other. May 11, 2009 Dear xxxx, Thank you for contacting me about the Federal regulation of online gambling. This is an important issue and I appreciate hearing your concerns. The Wire Act of 1961 makes the electronic transmission of betting funds or betting information a crime. While this law has been interpreted by the Department of Justice to include a prohibition of online poker playing, the US Fifth Circuit Court of Appeals ruled in November 2002 that the Wire Act ...

Re:ESPN only showing 3 events from the whole WSOP this year...
It looks like they are increasing ME coverage, maybe as much as doubling it...Given they are taking the four month break for the final table again, this makes a certain amount of sense as they can spend more time covering the FT players during the early stages of the ME.

Re:poker taxes that i didn't pay in 2004
Either file an amended return and pay the tax, interest and penalities, or do nothing and the odds are the IRS will not catch up to you over so small an amount of money.

Re:Poker Nordica March Rake Race payments
Just an FYI...it looks like the March numbers aren't final yet for Nordica here. I don't think the last day or two of March is included in the race results on P5's. The Nordica 10K promo has the final March rake results so you should be able to figure out where you finished. Adam - please correct me if I have this wrong. Thanks.

Adam, Thanks for the quick response. I knew Nordica had changed the player reward programs, didn't realize it had impacted affiliate reporting as well. Agree with you about the value they have given us...thanks. JW

Nordica March Rakeback final results.
Will we be seeing the Final Nordica March Rake Race standings soon ' I would think Nordica is probably behind in their reporting due to the upgrades/revisions that they did on April 1st. Thanks in advance.

Re:Doyles Room/Cake Merge
Adam - I was considering opening an account on Players Only. If I understand you correctly, I can open the account but since I currently have an account on Cake with RB, I am not eligible for RB with a new account that I may open in the future on Players, Doyle's Room, etc. Just want to be clear on this, since without RB, I would not open the account.

Re:sick spot with AQo, whats your play here
I don't think this is that tough a spot. You are getting about 5-1 to call here...I would call and see the flop. Unless someone hits a monster on the flop, the play is to check it down after the flop to eliminate the short stack. BTW, this should be in the discussion forum.

Re(3): micro mtt hand - comment
He is raising 3x UTG...he probably has a big hand and as another poster said, you are either in a flip or crushed. You have no fold equity here and with 11-12 bb, I don't want to push 3bb into the pot here on what is at best a flip. I want to save as much fold equity as possible. Fold this hand to the UTG raise and look for something I can shove with and get my $$$ in better than this.

Re(2): Micro Omaha 8 SNG Turbo Bubble Hand
I probably raise your hand preflop playing four-handed. My guess is that you are probably ahead for the high hand and he most likely has an A2. Connecting high cards might be a possibility here in which case you are in great shape (AA would have pushed harder preflop). ICM probably says fold here and cash, but my preference is to play these things very aggressively, so I probably re-raise here knowing there are very few hands I am in really bad shape against.

Bonus has gotten harder to clear...100 points for $10 was on a dealt basis, now the 20 points for $5 is on a contributed basis...one good thing...the change has cleared some of the rocks out of there.

Re(2): how do you play AA here?
You don't want to call from your position, that just gives the four players behind you odds to call...given the size of your stack...a raise to 700 commits you to this hand, so you might as well shove here.
