Are SnG games too tight now...
You don't have enough starting chips to open up very much. Maintaining fold equity is essential when you have not gotten the cards to double up with.

Don't be afraid to bust when you have a good chance to double or triple up even in the early stages. Of course sometimes you just don't get the cards and the flops and you struggle to survive the middle stage but keep in mind you are playing micro stakes so you will often get called by hands such as AT on a flop with an Ace or somebody just on a flush draw. Read up on stt strategy and you will see how there is a basic gameplan for the 3 stages of a tourney, just as MYBLUEDOG mentioned previously. From your post, It's waaaaaay to early to get so down on yourself for not dominating sngs. $10 games are just going to get you a little better competition than the $2 games, so that is your decision. Successful live experience does not equal automatically winning online. Play, study and play your chosen sng format like crazy. Sng players who make real money play a ton of games...check the leaderboards at sharkscope if you haven't already. All the sng pros I have read up on say that, once you master the game, it's just a matter of volume. - Get the two popular sng books that are available ...

Petition to Poker Stars: More hyper turbo SNG options please!!
I would like hyper-turbo sng on Stars at all levels...micro thru high stakes. Doesn't Full Tilt do this' Oh yeah, I can't get rakeback on Tilt so who cares.

What MUST you do in Vegas, when not playing poker...
In June...before sunrise. In August...the night before. I just checked the forecast and 100+ high temps start this weekend. I will never forget in 2005 when the high temp was 115-117 for a week...now that was hot.

Yep. I am near Sahara and Town Center and it's great...parks, sidewalks for jogging, restaurants, shopping, and easy drive down Flamingo to Bellagio.

Go for the place in Summerlin. It is the nicest area in Vegas. Pretty much all of the west/northwest part of town is good. Of course there are many houses for sale all over the city, so you could look at places forever if you wanted to but I say don't waste your time. Good luck.

That's right. The only ones I can find like this are the off-brands and mostly refurbs...and I just cannot afford much over $200. There are a ton of 23"-24" w/ 1920x1080 however.

Regular or DoN STT?
For an aspiring STT grinder, which do you recommend' I can only afford to start at the micros on Stars. I have the SnG books by Moshman and Shaw. I have TableNinja. I have 10 tabled a few times without going crazy. I want to work up to at least the mid-stakes and make some money. Also, SnG Wizard or Power Tools'
