This is the perfect sample of customer service and caring about your customers. Look at all the posts complaining about UB and nobody from management had the "bolas" to post something on this site explaining to all of us the thinking behind their actions. If this post would have been about Pokerstars, Mr Lee woulda been involved in a second and posted something to clarify the problems. The UB reps are not at fault because they have limited knowledge on whats going on. Management should get involved to show us that the DO care.

I don't understand why UB doesn't improve their customer service. They keep trying to bring customers over to their site with different structures, bounty tournaments, etc, but they refuse to improve their customer service which is such a critical part of any business. I joined over 3 years ago and it seems to be getting worse. That's one of the reasons why Poker Stars is so popular and why so many people play there. Their support is second to none.

Another problem with UB is not to be able to unregister for a tourney half an hour before it starts. At least Poker Stars gives you a chance to unregister five minutes before start time.

It will not affect us in Canada. The government even runs "Pro-line", in which you can bet on Hockey, football, soccer,etc, and the money they collect goes to help hospitals, etc. another beauty about Canada is that you do not pay tax on lottery, betting winnings.
