Alex Keating interview on card player, screen name Kadabra I never berated that player. He asked me what I thought of his game. I asked whether he wanted my honest opinion, he said yes, and I told him what I thought. He solicited my opinion, so I don't know how this could be defined as berating someone. Thanks stepin, I remember that table being a lot of fun (were you on my direct left') Posted in: Poker Community |

Alex Keating interview on card player, screen name Kadabra Russ, I haven't played with you much, but you struck me as more of a "hero fold" kind of player on the river over someone who is more of a "pay off wizard". With all the banter that went on before the hand, i felt like talking to you might of reminded you that the whole play was premeditated (telling you i was going to raise your blind, bet almost all in on river, etc) maybe making you think I was more likely to bet more hands to keep my word. I almost wanted to be bluffing in that spot (and save my trips for another river), it seemed like a good spot considering the dynamic. I didn't think I ... Posted in: Poker Community |

Alex Keating interview on card player, screen name Kadabra First off, I'd like to say sorry to anyone I offended. I didn't mean to come off like that, I was *very* nervous about this interview and have never been comfortable talking over the phone. After the interview, Julio told me that i would get some heat for this. I asked why and he said I bashed the entire mtt community and I was confused. When i listened to it myself it made more sense. I didn't mean it as if everyone who plays tournaments is not trying, i was talking about a small group of people and didn't make that clear. I was at a loss for words for most of julios questions and just ... Posted in: Poker Community |

At 11:30 in the morning i got in line to register for the 5k, it was a long line and it was going very slow. the tournament starts at 1. the computers broke for like 45 minutes and around 12:45 they fired back up again. Its now 1:30, Im 2nd in line, the tournament started 30 minutes ago, i still need to eat and shower. joe hachem walks right through to the front which actually didnt really bother me, but he walked through and was high fiving everyone and just having this "im better than the line attidude" on a scale of 1-10 im only a 2 as far ... Re:P5's ranking yeah I signed up a long time ago but mostly just browsed. I'm actually more of a cash game player than a tournament player, I just started getting into the whole tournament scene. Posted in: Off Topic |

Re:Full Tilt Poker Suggestion (FTOPS RANT) I won't complain about a site having more big tournaments, if it's not my cup of tea, I just won't play. Also cash games get juicier during ftops. I think they are spaced out pretty well. Give everyone a little break to reload, then just run mad satellites into all the events. Which is what attracts all types of players. Re(1): late in the 10rebuy is this a good push? this just comes down to pokerstove if yout think AJ is ahead of his range, then a shove is a great move here. however, keep in mind your getting a fold exactly 0% of the time. hes put in half his stack so he can no longer fold. so consider this an all in move by him. the question now is, is calling the shove here +ev' i know nothing about this player, so i couldnt tell you what his hijack raising range is 6.5 bb's deep but lets just assume its, any pair, any broadway, and any ace. you have 57.85% equity against that range. if we take this a step further, ussually when players who have less ...
