Is this asshole fucking real' The letter grade system for restaurants and delis was a joke from the start, and has been proven, through harrassment & extortion by inspectors, and the costs of compliance and the appeals system, to be yet another tool in this administration's ongoing effort to criminalize poverty, and marginalize the non wealthy. This shit just takes that groundwork to it's logical next step. Government interference in it's most blatant form - boy Dyzalot was 1000% right.

Anyone Having Yahoo Search Engine Problems Today?
It was just to see if the Yahoo was working. When I couldn't get a link with 'NYC DOB', I thought maybe the DOB changed their site around and maybe had a new web address that didn't yet register on Yahoo. So I typed in 'pocketfives', and it couldn't give me the link for that either, so I thought that Yahoo Search was messed up. It's working fine now, and still have no idea what happened to it earlier.

I understand this, and it is a fair point. I think where it gets overboard is when you have a guy who watches his teams game every night with his kid. His team has a couple of infielders who are bobbling routine grounders every night, both on turf and grass, sometimes getting the out, sometimes getting the error. On other grounders, once each game, each of these couple of guys bounces a routine throw to the 1B. When my dad took me to my first game, I dreamed that one day I could come up with an advanced metric that would allow me to quantify what I was watching - a decimal point just felt right. I'll be wasting a lot of fucking money at Barclay Center next year if this is even close. I'd like them to drop Gaines and bring Tinsley home tho. I can see it now: 5 minutes into the 4th quarter opening night, Heat 125, Nets 70, Telfair's posse talking shit to an angry Stephen Jackson who it flipping the bird and trying to get into the stands, a couple of Queensbridgers jump on the court and slug a ref when he T's up Artest, and the Barclay Center turns into the Superdome during Katrina. Would almost be worth it just to see David Stern have a heart attack.

Or is it just me' Just tried it for the first time today, and it seems like it can't find sites it used to be able to. Typed "NYC DOB" to get the Dept. of Buildings site up, and can't find it - go to google and gets me there with no problems. Even 'pocketfives' gets no link. WTF!
