100k live tourney.....flop set OOP not a bad beat story ACE. Just curious if a smooth call or raise/ship was best considering three players behind. also, does anyone fold PF UTG here with PP 2-7' Posted in: Poker Discussion |

Simple cash flop spot. Best way to proceed? fold....without past history on villan, let it go. Too early to see who's boss. RR is out of the question. Posted in: Poker Discussion |

Zoom PLO hand help why fold' hands we lose to: AA- given river A, unlikely A10- we have a 10, unlikely A5- possible JJ- possible you called the turn and got a boat on river; what were you looking for' he might have a str8 or flush. this is a must call, AT LEAST. Posted in: Poker Discussion |

2 spots with AQ First hand is a must raise 3x bet; it shows strength and puts pressure on UTG and limper. Taking pot PF is ideal. Second hand is fold or shove; either one is acceptable. Posted in: Poker Discussion |

help with AQ OOP PLZ ^^^^agree mostly For me AQ in this spot is fold or raise big; problem with raising big is our stack size. We'll be committing over 20% of our stack. If it was me and I've been in this spot many times, I'd fold. AQ is a duck here! Posted in: Poker Discussion |

Flop and turn play w/ Kings vs. good & aggro villains why did u not raise PF' also, should've bet turn, even tho ace hits. as played, u have no idea where u r at in the hand. u could raise him here, but your line screams weakness (bet flop, check scare-card turn). the line u took, I'd fold and play better next time. Is my set any good? The turn was a good bad card for you. Flush and str8s get there. Nice pot control. The river does no favors; but villain doesn't seemed bothered. Look at hand from reverse, he must have a flush. No shame in folding this one. Posted in: Poker Discussion |

Should I fold these hands? HAND 1: This is a fold. UTG raised 3x, you SC, and another shoves. The shovers range could be wide and looks like a steal or 66-1010, AJ-AK, so history on him is useful. Black and white, it's risking too much stack with JJ. HAND 2: As played, you must fold the river. At best you are chopping- there is no winning scenario here. Either you chop or SB has a 6 or pocket 88. All IMO Posted in: Poker Discussion |

KQ open facing small shove and a flat. Call or fold?? sirgenutz smooth calls the all-in; this sends red flags for me; AA or KK possibly and wants a side pot. sirgenutz isn't deep enough to try and out flop or chase dangerous draws. Posted in: Poker Discussion |

L.A. Poker Classic with AK and 17bb $65 buy-in $100,000 gaurantee; 4-day re-entry (no rebuy); this is 1C Level 5 (20min levels) Blinds $75-$150 Starting stacks $3k I have $2,600 My image thus far is tight, due to completely card dead. I played one hand and won PF. UTG+3 I get AK. I raise to $400. Two late callers and the blinds. Flop A23 rainbow Blinds check I go all-in, which is pot-size bet Is this the correct play' I feel any other bet might commit me either way. Posted in: Poker Discussion |

Hi I'm new I have a poker question or about a hundred. I'll start with one. If the pot has 100...and your opponent bets 20 on river..............you are getting 6-1 odds (120 in pot / 20 if u call). ALWAYS NO WHAT'S IN POT AT ALL TIMES! Stop playing poker until you figure this out. Posted in: Poker Discussion |

Cash Game Nits WWYD His line-of-play indicate pocket 88 or JJ. I'd play the same way if I hit a set in his position. Doubt he's check shoving with draws here. So he has you dominated or may have KK hoping an ace didn't flop. Your fold is good. Posted in: Poker Discussion |

AA facing Turn shove in 3bet pot given your position, i'd raise to 1k PF. however, your raised didn't get any additional callers. UTG villain raised 3x and smoothed call. AK, KK, QQ, JJ, 10s, maybe 99, 88 are possible. His action looks like over pair- KK, QQ. not everyone reraises with KK PF any more. the flop and turn was safe for him, so he makes a move on turn. I'd call and hope pocket 10s don't show up. Double up early or go home...mercier style!!!!!!! Posted in: Poker Discussion |

Late tourny decisions with M between 6 and 10 You are in that grey area with 20ish BB;so it's either shove or fold. With bubble looming, I'd shove. SB would need a monster to call. Now I've made it known many times that I can't stand AQ. In this same situation recently, I ran into AK and 88- lost both (I'm unlucky that way by nature). I'd put less weight on 'M' factor and more on BB status. Posted in: Poker Discussion |

Quick Hand Advice: JJ UTG Live 1/3 Easy call. You got an ideal flop for JJ. If he hit two pair or set, that's poker. Maybe he has A10, K10, QJ. If you lose, reload. Posted in: Poker Discussion |
