Re:Stu Ungar
Was sittin at the golf course bar in Wynn 2 years ago with a friend, and the girl behind the bar told us she knew Stu Ungar once she found out we were poker players. She explained that she used to live in a town house that was on a Las Vegas golf course. One day while Stu and some golfers were playing the course, she happened to be in her backyard as they passed. Stu approached her and asked if she had anything that he could drink. She said he seemed harmless so she brought him out some lemonade. Stu thanked her and went on playing. She thought nothing of it until the next week when she heard ...

Re:AA cash game situation
I feel like if your gonna limp here pre you have to just flat the reraise for 2 reasons 1.) Your limp reraise here screams AA 2.) If you flat it looks as though you limped with a small pair to set mine or with some sort of suited connector and are calling pre looking to catch up because you are both fairly deep Now your playing AA in position against a guy who will almost certainly C-bet or worst case in 2nd pos against 2 opponents

Re(3): Cash game hand... someone please explain.. WTF
Your looking at this pot the wrong way. First off if you think they have crap hands and want to milk them, than you cannot complain for the flush being hit and getting drawn out on. However, if you truly want to make money at a cash game you should be charging your opponent an amount on the flop that will amount to a -EV call for any higher flush draw or boat draw. You know that your opponent has at most 7 outs that can beat you so u need to charge them accordingly.

Re(1): ALL BODOG PLAYERS
I definately agree that Bodog needs to get some tournies going other than just hold 'em. All the players on the new bodog panel should suggest this in the surveys.

Full time players in grad school?
I am about to graduate from college with a BS. I have an opportunity to stay at school as a grad assistant to get a masters degree. I was just wondering if there re any other full time players who are in a graduate program with any advice on how the balance between school and poker works out.

Re(1): Weird WSOP Encounters >> Share them here:
-Walkin out of the Wynn with Krusty after day 3 of the main event see a dorky lookin guy walk in with bodog gear on and ask him how he's doin, he says he's still alive. I ask him what his bodog screename is and he says he doesnt have one, he is part of their celebrity team. "What's your name" I awkwardly ask him as I have no idea which celebrity he is. He says "Jamie Gold" as Krusty and I walk away we say to each other at the same time "who the F*** is Jamie Gold!" We now know. -Bodog party was insane. Only downside to the open bar was no shots(even for cash). Somehow Humberto Brenes talked ...

Tough day 1 starting table
Seat 1 Martin De Kniff Seat 3 Dave Dicken Seat 5 last yeras bubble boy (Swedish Pro) Seat 9 Darrel Dicken Seat 10 Me It was definately a tough draw for day one, but it was an awesome experience. I witnessed poker at a level I had never seen before. Every chip at my table was earned as these guys constantly kept the pressure on everyone. I made it til 2:30 in the morning and was one of the five of us who made it until that part of the day(Martin went out shortly after). Overall great poker experience for my first WSOP, and a great bunch of guys as they showed nothing but class at the table.
