Re(1): I NEED SOME SERIOUS SUGGESTIONS(this is my life) You are making the fatal mistake of assuming that poker will always be there. It may, and then again, it may not. You can't predict the future. What are you going to do if 20 years from now you've gotten married and maybe even decided to have some kids and gradually the money in poker dries up, but you need income' Something for you to keep in mind is that you are not fully mature yet as a man. Please don't take offense to that statement, but it's just hard truth. You're being impulsive and shortsided. If you have the talent to acquire a college degree, do yourself a favor and grow up, ... Unfortunately, you have to have some online poker background to get it all, but damn it's funny as shit. Posted in: Poker Discussion |

Damn Gank You feeling different today or something because the hand you posted was great and finally some good explaination from you to go with it. I see your stuff on here, (not all of it), but so many times you don't give anything with it, just some kind of self promotion. But this is much more "helpful" to those that are here to learn. I wish you would do more of this. Posted in: Poker Discussion |

One of the guys in my Poker group has FT'ed this tournamnet 3 times in the past four months and made about $11,500. He has played it about 50 times, and has about $1700 invested in it. So he has a good net gain. I'm not sure if he can do better in other tournaments, but he likes playing it. I don't know how many hours he has invested' Probably about 300' That would be abit more than $30 per hour profit. Posted in: Poker Discussion |

The hand that he knocked Raymer out with he had no business staying with after the flop, but he did. Maybe he thought Raymer was bluffing big time and would go one more bet' He called a sizeable pre-flop bet and another big bet after the flop without a pair or a draw. He went runner, runner heart flush to take the pot down. It was not what you would call a tight play, but he got lucky after the flop.....about 23.5 to 1 lucky. His best friend from High School worked at a small casino in Booneville, MO and went to the event to watch. When AK got fourth, he gave this friend 10 percent and the friend called the casino and quit his job ... Posted in: Poker Discussion |

If Jennifer Harmen is so overrated Why does she consistently play in the big game' You have to be one of the best poker players in the world to play in that game. Friday night Gus Hansen, Chip Reese, Bobby Ballwin, Sam Farha, Doyle Brunson and another person I did not know played the big game at the back table of the Golden Nuggett. They started about 9pm and were still going at 6:30 am the next morning when we were leaving to go catch a flight. Jen Harman was there for part of that session. Posted in: Poker Discussion |

If someone told me what he had, I would assume he knew the rules and that would be one hand I would know he didn't have. If it is later revealed that he violated the rules, I would turn that player in. But shooting an angle like that in a cash game is not illegal if that was not his pocket pair. Most likely someone at UB in customer service doesn't know the rules. Posted in: Poker Discussion |

I happen to know a Raymer family member and a pretty close one at that. All I can say to some of the posts in this thread is WOW!! Some people should really think before they post stuff about others if they really want to be taken seriously. Some that know Greg (NSXT, super, et.al.) have defended him here, and that is probably good enough, but I wanted to reinforce it abit by saying that Raymer has stated that he got an incredible run of good cards in last years WSOP event. But to say that he isn't a quality player or that he doesn't belong is simply a lack of knowledge. He is a pretty good pro player. I haven't met him so I don't ... Posted in: Poker Discussion |

I'm a regular UB player although not very good, LOL. I just started playing at FT and like it. I play the mine view at UB so the other sites with full table view are uncomfortable for me. But I like FT the best of all the others. I took some advice I got from this site and turned off the Avatars and put up the Midnight background and was able to view the interface much better. I think the blind structure there is pretty good. I know that so far the field has not been nearly as tough as it is at UB. Posted in: Poker Discussion |

I have watched about half of the videos including that last 15 that you have done and I think Richard is doing a really good job. He isn't a seasoned pro at reporting but I have enjoyed the videos and he is certainly improving. The questions have been very good at times as well. I picked up a couple of things. It's also great to see P5 get some props with Bax and sheets. Posted in: Poker Discussion |

To me, the size of the event adds to it's prestige It will be the largest Poker event ever. It might be the largest purse type event ever' I think that in the future, if 6600 players is all they want, just increase the buy in. Hell, start making it 15K or even 20K. I bet we still get a full field. Can you imagine a 120 million dollar event' WOW. I think we are headed there and probably even bigger. Posted in: Poker Discussion |

Internal message would be a great addition to your site Cal. We have it on some other sites that I frequent and it is very nice. Sometimes, there are just subjects that are better discussed in private instead of the open forum and some people may be uncomfortable giving out an email address. Expanded database would be great as well. Keep up the good work. Posted in: Poker Discussion |

Another tournament a UB won't run I know it's only $5 MTT, but I really look forward to these smaller buy'ins. Not all of us are ranked online players. I'm getting really tired of things not running at UB. I like the site, but this shit is really annoying. It might be time for me to switch sites. Posted in: Poker Discussion |
