they've also changed the blind structures of the turbos from 5min to either 3min or 6min. That's fine, but upping the rake by so much sucks!

Deep in DNG: fold turn or call and fold river?
yeah, I guess I short circuited for a moment. Knew what I was going to do wouldnt get called by less and that villain prolly binked the turn. Just a moment of stupidity. It's probably better to fold the turn as you know you're gonna face a big bet on the river. I just needed the confirmation that it was a bad move and I didnt find the discipline to fold there. My own fault.

Villain was pretty tight playing 23/9 over 23 hands. before I came to the table he had doubled up from 10x w AQs vs QQ and when I was at the table he 3bet shoved 20x w 99 otb vs co raiser (AK). After that nothing significant. Villain's a brand new player on Stars having only played 8 mtt's since march 19th, 2$(+)-$17, Sunday Million, DNG and $162 without cashing. Although I was playing 26/26 over 23 hands at the table, I had only showndown strong hands shoving A3s w 10x from co and doubled vs sb's KJo and 4betshoving AK and doubling up again. so i think the consensus is to flat pre as if we were setmining and try to hit an ace or a king and getting value with a deceptive hand. i think 3betting bigger wont scare away callers that more often so we'll be losing more chips if we miss and c/f or possibly cbet/fold. normally i would flat or 3bet AK oop about 70/30% ott, especially 3bet when antes are in play. not sure why in this case i chose the more aggro way, but it showed/confirmed that playing big slick oop is a lot trickier to play. really appreciate all your opinions on this hand and i will def go for the passive route next ...

i bet little over 1/2pot (3400) and had to fold to a reshove and a call from 98s and JJ respectively. being out of position w AK i was contemplating on just flatting the rasie pre for pot control and deceptive value. wouldve saved me chips as i'm gonna miss the flop more often than not and apparently there are still a lot of bad players in the DNG who flat 3bets w mp's/sc's and consider them the nuts if no overcards appear on the flop.
