Is this unavoidable? No HH but its a cash game. I have AA mp. Raise 4xbb. BB calls me. Flop K 4s 8 rainbow. I bet 3/4s pot. BB calls. Turn 7s I ob the pot slightly. BB calls. River 2. BB comes out betting about 1/4-1/5 of the pot (half my remaining stack). I push, he turns over K7. The river bet was the only clue I had that I was beaten. Right' Posted in: Poker Discussion |

Should I of smooth called here? (AA) I was split between smooth calling and reraising here. I finally went with the raise b/c there were a ton left to act. But then again he raised ALOT and on the right flop I double up... ugh is this an easy fold for you? the smallish bet and the gutshot flush made me call the turn...but I didn't know how to handle this hand. Is this ok to do? I thought hard about calling the reraise but I had been seen raising the same amount with nothing very good on the button so I thought I'd see a flop. I figure she had 10 10+. The low flop bet and the ace made me call the flop, knowing that if she checked the turn I was going to bet big. Did I F*#*@ this up and get lucky? Villian has a history of reraising big on the button with air so I knew I was (probally) ahead. I had also taken down the pot from her before by reraising the huge flop bet when I thought it was a bluff and had enough to back it up. I knew I was in trouble at the push but I thought I was pot commited. (right..') Can I REALLY get off of this hand? Sorry No HH..... .05/.10 my stack-$5, player a-$2.5, player b-$8 I have queens in late position, I raise to 30 cents. Called by two. I have a cash game question....?! This is a problem I have alot. Heres the situation: AQo, raise 3xbb middle pos. all fold except one in middle pos. flop 8 5 2 rainbow I'm not in position bet half the pot, called turn 7 bet little more then half, called check, check (this time he checked, if he bets less the half the pot im calling)Should I bet the river' Just assume you have no read. Quick question, quick answer please? Kind of early in a MTT satellite my stack in the upper 35% (~2.6k), blinds 25-50. Almost everybody has limped to me, in middle position. I hold pocket 9's. Is there anyway out of this hand? $1 rebuy. No info on Speed; new to the table. With my low kicker and in terrible position i can't really see betting more then that on the flop. Bad Beat or Bad Play? Besides the fact that he had no business being in this hand anyway, could I of played this any differently' I would of gotten out on the turn if I had been substantially raised again. Thoughts on this? This is something I always wondered about: In mid-early position with any kind of draw on the board, if its checked to me, do i check myself or bet' It really doesnt do me any good getting others out if i hit my flush/straight anyway, so should I just check' I also think if i bet and somebody goes wayy over the top of me and i fold, i lose that money anyway. An example: This is early on, i just min bet. But really i have no clue... GambitMichel is at seat 0 with 545. jstunna1 is at seat 1 with 1635. bulldogs2007 is at seat 2 with 1455.
