I did. 45-1 about Day was ridiculous (he is top 5 in my world rankings). Nice little payday. Sadly, that will be the last bit of great value about Day (28-1 for Sandwich, doubt links will suit him yet).

I can't fault your logic. It is, however, how one plays relative to his competitors, not the course which matters. In any case, the toughness of a course is measures by it's slope rating, not par.

Tylos, US is in a different league to everywhere else (except Pacific Islands, special case though) for fat women. Admittedly, we have a huge number of immigrants from the Baltics, never seen a fat one. You are a bit spoiled for nice women where you are.

We had something similar. A lot of (maybe all of) our dead Servicemen pass through Wootton Bassett on their way home. The whole village comes to a standstill to pay it's respects and the road is lined with all of the villagers, silent. A pro-islamic group decided to protest one of these homecomings like Westboro does. The papers got hold of the plans and an enormous fuss was made. We don't have the right to free speech and protest. We used to have 2 majors. Then the pro game flourished and the British Amateur became less relevant. WW2 happened, things changed. Arnie decided that our current 4 majors comprised a grand slam. Arnie was/is the King/God so what he said became so........ Furthermore, the world's best golfers were almost all Americans, they made it clear (and many still do) that they didn't want to venture outside the US. This has stopped other tournaments from developing as they might have. With a shift away from complete American dominance (US still kills any other country most of the time), maybe a major ...

Well, the PGA tour does have 2 championship tournaments. The Tour Championship. 30-man end of season affair to finish off the Fedex cup. The Players Championship. Normally the highest quality field of any tournament all year. Desperately would love major status.
