Re:What would you do here?
they way you play the hand he can think you are drawing to a flush here. a good play can be to just call the turn and front push a blank river

Re:What would you do here?
first of all you have to asign him to a range of hands he can have here. Can he have 99 qq here' is this AA' is this random bluf from big stack' if you think he is bluffing here you are obviously just calling the turn and raising the river. if you think he has a good hand which you can beat, you should reraise on the turn to commit him to the pot. if this guys is such a sick nit that he can only have you dead here i whould just call call on turn and river. but you need a sick read on the player for this to happen.

Re:Raise or call on river?
you can reraise on the turn or the river. You have a very strong hand against a player who probaply has the king. So the river reraise might get called here. Just make it 1000 on the river and get payed of by ak qk kj k10. kinheim

Re:End Game Advice
hey bcard, I think i have the same ( problem ), i just think variance has a lot to do with it. Playing tournaments with a lot of ppl makes for huge swings. Im also much better in 300-500 ppl tournaments, maybe it has something to do with concentration span. Just keep playing solid tournament poker and the results will come. On the qk hand i whould just raise a standard amount because this way you are able to steal blinds without going all in preflop for 20 bb. You give them a chance to hang them selve when you are strong en fold with a smal risk when you are weak. kinheim
