Re:Vegas casinos and LIVE RAZZ Cash games A few weeks ago I was at the Red Rock on a Saturday night/Sunday morning... They had a crazy 6/12 mix game that included.... Stud H/L, 2/7 Triple Draw, A/5 Single Draw, Badugi, Razz, PLO Omaha, Omaha H/L... Give Red Rock a call if you're in town and they'll tell you if it's running. Posted in: Poker Discussion |

For those who have played before... can you help me out with a few questions' 1) How many people usually play during the weekday' 2) How much does 1st usually payout' 3) How good is the overall play' 4) Is there anything important I should know' Thanks in advance and good luck to all you Sunday major players! Going to be in Vegas from 4/9-4/16... which tourney would you play? I'm predominantly going to be playing low-buy in tourneys... but I'm also looking to take a crack at maybe a $300-$400 buy-in tourney. Around that time frame there's the $300 Venetian Deepstack and the $300 Caesers WSOP Circuit event. Which one should I play' Things to consider will be best structure, weakest field, and best incentives (either through the casino or the tournament series, etc). Posted in: Poker Discussion |

Is there any good reason why.... Pokerstars has yet to start its WSOP satellites' I'd figure after their main competition starts satellites, they would jump on the ball, but then when CAKE even freaking starts satellites before they do... it's just plain ridiculous. Posted in: Poker Discussion |

Re:Was Ivey losing the 2003 WSOP to Moneymaker more profitable then if he had won? Actually, the year Varkonyi won it, there was no hole card cam. He's been quoted in interviews saying that a few people at his final table opposed playing with the cam so it wasn't used. 2003 was 100% the first year it was used at the WSOP. Why Moneymaker sparked the boom and RV didn't.... MANY REASONS: hole card cam, online qualifier from only $40, his NAME, his story, the fact that they aired him starting from day 2, etc. Posted in: Poker Discussion |

Re:matusow and d singer arguing They are mad at Singer because Singer, a Stud expert, tends to sit at the HORSE tables and play all the stud games (RAZZ/STUD/STUD8) and sitout for all the flop games (HOLDEM/O8). Mike finds it unprofessional because if you went to a casino and sat at a HORSE table and did that crap, you would probably get the %$@# beat out of you in the parking lot.
