When will Pocketfives Leaderboards and badges reflect accurate results? What is the point in ranking players based on volume, not profit' The leaderboards fail to reflect losses, buyins etc. Sharkscope is much more accurate at portraying 'leaders' and I just have to question why we applaud accomplishments like a 1 mil badge, when it's a good chance a lot of 1 mill earners are in fact not really even profitable or broke due to paying 3k a night in buyins. I think it's time for pocketfives to fundamentally change it's player cash to reflect buyins. Kudos for lowering the players needed per tourney to 75. Posted in: Poker Community |

do people hates slow rollers or is it just me.... I personally believe in slow rolling in a few situation is correct. It should always be online, live would likely be personal and dictate a fight. First off, when you've been slowrolled, or a guy bad beats you and is running his mouth, berating other players etc, it's awesome to get the last laugh and have the table laugh too. Second, if a guy opens, a guy shoves, It's correct to slowroll because you want to show hesitation to induce the third guy into the pot. Lastly, if you are in some loose cash game and a guy is ramming around recklessly like he's drunk, one slow roll as posted earlier, ... Posted in: Poker Community |

merge mtt profitable for anyone ? I have to laugh at paulgees for his cocky berating of players, he just tilted off 20k HU SNGs in a night or two..ouch, karma Sick, some guy barely up money after 3k in low stakes volume all the sudden sits paulgees at series of 2k Hu sng games and runs him for 15k before finishing up 10k...really obvious some high stakes pro played on the dudes account. Fulltilt poker investor rumored to be...son of a crook! Well good news is the person/family associated is loaded with enough cash to pay us all back, the bad news is the investors dad has been accused of fixing soccer games and prosecuted for tax fraud...A perfect fit for Ray Bitar, a guy that's a cheat. Figures perfect in this shady industry landscape. Posted in: Poker Sites |

Adapting to late stages Make sure you are focusing on the players who are making the 2.2-2.3 raises often, they will likely be three betting you. It is good you are stabbing and stabbing and stabbing, but its much more about knowledge of who is your left, and their stack sizes. You want to push mid sized stacks near the bubble, and avoid aggro big stacks and small pot committed people esp those in blinds. I'd say push/fold any stack under 8 bb instead of open raising. What is the optimal SB strategy when folded around, relatively deep stacked I find I like to limp sb alot because of always getting restealed by bb when it folds around. I know it's probably optimal to raise or fold in this spot. I was wondering if anyone had ideas on ranges to raise sb to steal bb without much history on an opponent. I was wondering if anyone had holdem manager stats that back up success rate stealing in sb, what the proper raise amount should be and if called, is a Cbet almost always mandatory on dry boards' Thanks for helping this leak. cashout requests on cakepoker They have a deposit option like a quicktender payment processor, has anyone used it' or what about the other option like moneygram..typically once you use a deposit mechanism it opens up an alternative withdraw option. I notice there's a message saying to contact them if there needs to be a different withdraw option. I might withdraw soon, but I'm surely going to email them and say "hey look it takes 6-8 weeks to withdraw and I might be moving so I don't want a check in the mail, can i withdraw via western union or your MoneyLineWallet system" Posted in: Poker Sites |

Good luck USC Phildo remember playing you on final table of a turning stone deep stack tourney a few years ago, simple yet nice lesson u taught me on barreling vs blanks and representing hands, i know your capable of in-the-moment focus more than anyone in this tournament, would say take it down, more, just take every single hand as a moment and focus dude, I know u got this game on a higher level..play your game phil!!! call range,3 left mtt, even stacks, sb shoving into every bb? roughly...1k 3rd 2k 2nd 3k 1st...always appreciate the attention you give to posts...i'm familiar with nash ICM..just challenged by the mental attitude of being reckless virtually entering a coinflip for 1k or 2k result, IMO, it's ace rag or 10 7 flip call...but like a poster suggested, if I win, its big stack HU Posted in: Poker Discussion |

WHat else?? easy call for the following reasons: 27k more, 100k pot..either racing or crushing him the big stack you wanted to avoid folded and other stack who min raised is likely weak IMO, flat calling there was a mistake, I'd insta shove AKs to a min raise with 25k already in pot, then you actually have times where 10's lays down and AQs calls....in my opinion, in a structured payout system it is almost always standard you raise or reraise AKs, usually shove unless maybe two tight nitty regs have both shoved, either way, that's how you play for first late in mtt...I would actually like to see a spot ... call range,3 left mtt, even stacks, sb shoving into every bb? Three left in 8.5k gtd 7.5k-15k blinds, we all have about 350k in chips sb has shoved my bb about 8 straight chances, is KQo a call' I called, he had Ace3, hit his ace, I fist pumped 1k for 3rd but wondered if that was reckless to virtually race with such big payouts. Exploitable flaw in Bodog software I noticed playing HU cash games, if you sitout/sitin it executes moving of the button twice, so you can theoretically have the button every hand by clicking sitout/sitin at the end of each hand. Posted in: Poker Discussion |

Re:adam, why? Thanks adam for understanding. I had a 5k week in november, and while that's nothing to brag about, its enough to be top ranked in my city where I play with some of the guys in regular home games..One suggestion, cake does have a fixed login screen name which is permanent, perhaps accounts can be traced to that instead' Posted in: Poker Discussion |

adam, why? it is an advantage to be able to change names on cake, i think you should figure out a way to enable acceptance of leaderboard points despite screen name changes. It is pretty dumb that because a person changes screen names, their scores and results are wiped out. Posted in: Poker Discussion |

Re:Cake poker...WTF The reason for table resets is to wipe out connections that may have opened thru software like poker tracker etc. Thats how they block software like sharkscope hud and other huds, imo it's nice to play on a site with no stats orbots, and site is small enough you can get tendencies on regs with notes and doesnt take long to know all regs Posted in: Poker Discussion |
